i do not know when we use this lends at aps-c... sorry =D

Wonderful!....I enjoyed watching it!...I especially loved the "Bokeh" (blur) which makes the subject the focus of sight rather than having the backround steal the scene!. your 2.8 lens would allow you to get that effect. Loved it!...

sincere critic on my little movie. Bokeh(blur) it can make the subject to photography just like you wrote. I took picture at

F2.8 you wrote but when I took 1:1 magnification, this lens became F4.8 Even if open iris. and Lily of last shot , I want more blur of back round . I watched your beautiful flowers photos and I know you are using wonderful macro lens . The macro lens is very fun!!

Saintex45, I do not even own a Macro lens....what I use only for shooting the flowers is" Kenko extension tubes". It comes in three (3) parts. I always seem to prefer the 20mm tube.

The camera I use is a Canon Rebel XT (350D) with a Canon 50mm 1.4 lens. And thats it!.. Thats why my "Bokeh" is always there. And, I always focus "Manually".. I always use a tripod with a "ball head" so I can make angle adjustments quickly. The faster the lens, 1.4, 1.8, 2.8 the more "Bokeh" is visible.

interesting, I wrote. but today I write you have a macro lens,,,,,, so sorry Mr.SalPedi. I think it is good ball head.

it can set quickly. and tripod is important , I think. when we take flowers in close. Your 50mm 1.4 is very good bokeh ,

and very faster!! You attached this lens with kenkotube

Saintex45.....I found that when I decided to buy the ball head tripod, I got a bit excited because I then realized that in shooting Macro flowers that if I didn't like the angle of the photo, that I could very quickly re-adjust the ball head with just a simple twist which would then give me a best angle to shoot the flower. And its good to shoot the flower from three or four different angles. I would then choose the best photo from those shots on my computer.

Yes, ball head is really useful. but I have a ball head monopod, and sometimes i use this ball head mount attached with tripod....but now i use Velbon mini F recently it can take low angle position when spread the tripod. hummm. I need a ball head tripod to take good angle picture...
