  • I travelled to N. Ireland on the deadline of the good friday agreement. {we were from England visiting a church} when my friend drove us through the dark road between the airport and Belfast we still didn't know if the agreement had been signed yet and I was worried we would be ambushed. He played this song and I will never forget the sense of God's presence, protection and peace that night. I'd never heard of Robin Mark before. I'm not one for tears but I cant stop myself when I hear this.

  • @makariosblessing

Amen, I took my two beautiful daughters to North Ireland back in 1990s . And I spread the word - don't embarras me in front of my girls... or I will make phone call and your asses will be fryed!

(And bit humuor) I allowed them to go to a mixed dance. I told them- if anyone asks your religion, just say you are Jehovah Witness.

And sure enough, one young rocket scientist asked "But are you Caotholic or Protestant Jevohah Witnesses?"

(And folks wonder why I drink)

    blueberries or memorizing songs :P

  • I've seen Robin Mark live in concert in Dublin twice (1998 & 2010), and one simple thing that struck me is that he always sings with his eyes closed, always. It's a simple thing, but it speaks of humility and true worship of God. God bless the man!

  • good discipline I do the same.

  • This is a wonderful song : )

  • He came to my church the other day, and pratically everyone lost their voice singing with him. He was wonderful. This song is definetly very humbling, God Bless

  • powerful

  • Hard to type for the tears flowing. It was by "accident' that I heard the song "Days of Elijah" on a praise CD and checked him out on You Tube. Was it an accident? Don't think so. I have been listening to some of the greatest praise songs to God and enjoy Robin's voice and spirit so much. Johnny

  • @lostbootsguy what a blessing .........

  • @lostbootsguy welcome to The Kingdom of heaven on earth

  • What a GREAT Song, !!!!! Blessing to all that hear this Message .

  • Robin Mark is so much more spiritual in this song than the big time Christian singers in America with millions of You Tube hits, but keep in mind the world has gotten into the church.

  • I used to sing this song picking blueberries in Canada, and though I still fall flat on my face he is so faithful to pick me up and tell me of his love

  • Awesome. One of my favorite songs.

  • Amazing song - heard it in church today - we're talking about revival in our community - I pray for revival around the world. Let everyone see that Jesus is all they need and how awesome he really is. God Bless you all.

  • These kind of songs reminds me of the hymns, laments and psalms which Jews sung during their exile in Babylon.

Something similiar, melancholic, but lifting up hope. A hope regarding returning to the Promised Land, land of Israel.

  • ... wow,, wonderful song... this beautiful song always ingite my Spirit to continue to seek God's Presence... its title really manifest in my Heart... i love it.. have a Blessed Day/Night.. ^_^.

  • Happy St. Patrick's Day - Everyone !

    Peace & Joyz !

  • This song lifts me when im looking down. Praise the lord, in all his glory.

  • Hallelujah!

  • "Praise GOD"

  • Best Boost in a dreary day!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

  • Praise and bless God every day to have such a wonderful Youth Leader. He sounds great!

As for Robin Marks, I believe his songs are Spirit Birthed.

Consider his audience for the 'Revival In Belfast' CD. Belfast's so-called Christians, Protestants and Catholics, have been hating and killing each other for a looooong time.

For Robin to declare a true Christian Revival in that city takes Holy Spirit anointing and courage!

  • @MsZathras

    Good comment!

  • When you made the song, it doesn't matter much

  • what a dreadful attitude.

    it was absolutely amazin!

    dead catchy too.(:

  • This is probobly one of the most inspiring praise to Jesus song ever made, I love it and you ppl should not make any comments against God's chosen.

  • great song. we play this in church and a lot of his other music too!

  • Believers, Arise! Its time to honor Him like never before.

  • Some days one just must jump and praise the Lord for He is good!!!!..

Now thanks be to God who always leads us in triumph in Christ, and through us diffuses the fragrance of His knowledge in every place. 2 Cor 2:14

  • is not narrow taste, every person has different type of things as well as music, if you like modern rock christian song thats fine but don't criticise those who prefer a solemn christian music.

  • does any one know where to get a soundtrack to this song?

  • i love some of robin songs, some are too rock i prefer solemn songs. i hate the drums sound and other instruments that are irritating. But this song is really wonderful. i'm so blessed i'm listening to this while having devotion.

  • I agree with the drums sound, and other instruments. The more modern christian music isn't really my thing. That being said, Robin mark's stuff has a touch of celtic in it, which I love. Perhaps its my catholic roots, but I much prefer the choir / organ / orchestra kind of music.

  • Wow, it must be hard to have such a narrow taste in music.

  • I still enjoy the more modern things, its just most of them do not invoke many thoughts / emotions. To simply like guitar type music is actually fairly narrow taste, which such a huge % of the western world does. It is nice, but there is so much more.

Robin Mark is a really nice inbetween kind of guy

  • not neccesesarely (or however it's spelt) it doesnt make a difference how the music is put to invoke emotions/thoughts, i could probably take the same words as (insert worship song of choice here) and rock it up a little, and a whole load of people would probably snub it, just because of the sound, so actually, that is pretty much a lie, i know most people think your way, but it isnt true, its just cuz there all (insert swear word) conservatives, you dont have to have solemn music (to be continu

  • ed..) to worship god, i could worship god with rugby, i do but that isnt the point, the point is, what you said is absolute crap (im a christian, just totally UNconservative...)

  • Saying I prefer other non-rock genres does not make me conservative. What you say is very close minded. I am simply stating that I prefer a certain type of music. It has nothing to do with my political or religious beleifs on what genre, nor did I ever mention I liked "solemn music" as an alternative to rock. Rock is only one genre among many, even in the bland western melting pot of music.

  • true, but most of the time conservatives like the old stuff, and im anything but close-minded, and who said anything about politics? personally, Christian Rock is the best type out there, and celtic, but that's cuz im from Belfast.

  • I too enjoy christian music, as well as celtic music. Btw, liking old stuff does not mean you are close minded. Neither does being conservative - note that yes, there are plenty of close minded conservatives, but the same can be said about any view. It is the person who is the close minded one. not the belief

  • that last comment is debateble, because it is people who create beliefs, and since people are close-minded, therefore there beliefs are too, but im just saying, and liking the old stuff, but absconding the rest is conservative, and conservatives are generally close-minded, they hate change, so that is debateble too...but then, you could say progressives are close-minded about the past so....its all relative,

  • You are wong my friend. A Christian can't be closed minded. For we Follow Christ. There is no hate, nor judgement. Some are conservative some progressive. All are a part of a body..All are connected.

  • No, that was incorrect actually, we are not SUPPOSED to be close-minded, but that is part of being human, accept one and refusing the other, and there IS hate AND Judgment. Go search "The Troubles, Northern Ireland" if you want proof of that. The Crusades is yet another example. Just because they are supposed to be that way, does not mean they are. So you really just got yourself locked in a idealistic world. Humans aren't perfect, so they can't always do as they're supposed to.

  • Maybe I'm incorrect from the worldly point of View but not of Christ. All I can say my friend is Christ teaches something way different then this world follows. We are free in Christ. And yes I know about Ireland as I have family who were involved in it all.

  • But we are not Christ, we have a bit of trouble being perfect, as you should well know.

  • Your very right we are not Christ, and there really is not hate. See you start to see the good in people. Are we perfect by all means no. But we are striving for better. As well as the judgement. See if we were perfect there would be no need of Christ. And brother I need Christ.. Amen.

  • Alright, alright

  • @TheBelfastLeprachaun

    good words

  • Thanks :)

  • @TheBelfastLeprachaun You are welcome. Are you Irish from Belfast?

  • @MegaSage007 I am (Just a word, most of them prefer to be known as Northern Irish), though I'm not currently there at the moment, I'm living and studying in Thailand, with my Parents. I'm guessing you're from the U.S?

  • @TheBelfastLeprachaun Thankyou for the insight but I am ignorant as to the difference between Northern and Southern Irish and know my question probably connects to the recent Civil War.

  • @MegaSage007 You're Welcome. It was just Civil Unrest, not everyone was involved, thankfully, and don't worry too much about it, the main differences are the accent and beliefs, come to think of it...Not that many people do know about it...

  • Havent you forgot about our own flesh that always will be an enemy of god, the fruits of the flesh will always be sin (Galatians 5:16-26) but only when we walk in the spirit are we conected whit the wonderful body of christ and are conected to our father

  • Well spoken. Please remember that those who fear any thing have been warned 365 times in scripture not to. Father is change incarnate and seeks a one on one relationship with each of us..While I can see your point and agree with it. It has never been about what others do it is about us and father

  • Perhaps you've misunderstood what "worship" is. It has absolutely nothing to do with what WE like, and everything to do with what GOD desires.

  • It is, Thai

  • It is songs like these that reach down and touch your inner soul and lifts your spirits up to worship our Heavenly Father even more! Beautiful and timeless melody and lyrics...may it live in our hearts forever:)

  • this song gives me goosebumps.

  • think about the lyrics - prepare the way for the lord

all it takes is faith as small as a mustard seed to start a revival

  • I can't stop crying. This song is soooooo humbling. Bless you for posting this.

  • @dowejustexist
