Don't know what set up you have but in mac osx go to preferences / general / check the box that says ' Animate the dock icon ' . probably :>)

i got a problem, i done every thing you told me to do, i click get mail and nothing happened!, i decided to skip to sending a message but still nothing happened

i did everything as you said. i can recieve mails, but just cant send it. what is the problem. this hole thunderbird is useless to me without sending. please help
