  • WOW

  • I think I like the song.... A LOT....! :-)

  • Beautiful song.

  • you gotta love it, he's of the very few who can do this

  • Stevie added just the right touch to this, Ralph is really incredible, there are these small amount of views, only because there are a lot of different postings of this song!! Just waiting for him to come to Atlanta!!

  • letra excepcional.

  • Not that new. It's actually titled "Never Gonna Give You Up".

  • I could swear someone else did this, or am I imagining things. Didn't Marvin Gaye do a version of this? And if Saddiq doesn't sound just like him. Damn!

  • @kd1s cj hilton is the one who sounds like marvin

  • yep yep let's spread the word.

  • When I first heard this I like "WTF! where did he find Ray Parker Jr.?". Love this groove. Well done Raphael.

  • ahhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhh music real music!!!!!! Positive lyrics. Gr8 voices. Ahhhhh

  • I really love this smooth groove !!

  • This really does not sound like Saadiq, I am not sure its him

  • @mclive29 He comes in after CJ

  • @dt3223 I guess it is because the title people see before they get to the video is entitled "Like It"...

  • KOOL SONG!

  • i thought this song was called never give you up??

  • It iz. Raphael Saadiq feat. Stevie Wonder & C. J. Wilson / Never Give You Up.

I dont know what's up with this vid.

  • This is just ONE of my favorite songs off this album. I MISS MY CD! I left it home, and I'm at school now, but that's ok, because it will be on rotation when I return!

  • awesomeness!!

  • Raphael, es una bocanada de frescura ,muy cool.

    La gente del palo agradecida

  • This is so damn smooth. Love it!

  • bestest ever .....maan!

  • Yep on Xm Radio they Play this song

  • Overdub like Marvin. Motown sound accentuated by Mr. Stevie Wonder. Great song. THANK!

  • Commercal radio is garabage I Listen to Xm Radio That has no Commercials I Heard This song today On xm radio the channel is called Heart & soul

  • No its not . . . i have the album and its called never give you up

  • The Guy that sings on this with Raphael sounds similar to Ray Parker Jr.

  • that is ray parker singing in the song too !

  • Truly another example how the best of the industry is suppressed and the garbage is pushed to the front. This brother has been putting out excellent hits eversince he has been in the game. Tony, Toni, Tone, Luci Pearl, by himself. He is a example of top notch Black Artistry & Musicianship. LONG,LIVE, SAADIQ

  • Wow , Amazing!!!!!!!!!!, how come I didn't know about that singer this long?

  • It has been a long time since I fell in love with a song on the radio. I truly love it. Its my warm up song when I run in the morning!

  • NIce.

Sort of a has a Marvin Gaye feel to it.

  • Great sounding tune! Raphael is one of today's premier producers. Ray Parker Jr. sounds cool as always even after all these years. I'm lovin' this!

  • Djerne, if you get free tickits, go to a show!

    Amazing song :)

  • hahahaha, got free tickets to his concert in Bergen tonight, but guess what, I won't go cuz im to cool! ;)

  • your a perfect example of when things come free we don't truly appreciate them at all! I will learn from your mistake and ignorance! Thank you for the lesson of what not to do!

ps Real cool ppl don't have to tell others there cool, so you clearly are not that cool! Keep listenen to Raphael his musik will help with that category! lol God Bless friend!

  • ...CJ startin' point is Marvin....i think it's the best example in the soul singing!! good choice!

  • Make that CJ Hilton... my bad

  • I'm pretty sure the lead vocalist is Saadiq's protege CJ Hill

  • he is so damn talented!!!! i love him and this song ..im getting the album now!!!

  • this shit sounds like it's straight from the 60's. Haven't seen an artist pull it off so well

  • @cyber311hive It does:)

  • he sounds like ray parker in the beginning of this song he did well with this one congrats rayray

  • This is a very classy-cool song. This is not some new kid. Raphael is damn near legendary. Started with Tony, Toni, Tone! need I say more.

  • channeling marvin huh?

  • I don't think the singer is imitating Marvin Gaye but more that he sings like Marvin Gaye. As for as his singing voice, I think the singer sounds like Lionel Richie. Which combined means this singer has a wonderfully unique sound. Does anyone know who the lead vocalist is? Raphael Saadiq has a great talent for bringing the best out of artists--what he did with T Boz on Instant Vintage was amazing...love him & this song!! I met him at a club in Oakland in Dec. too & he was very nice and gracious.

  • His name is CJ Hilton

  • he got too much talent 2 b messing wiv joss stone

  • Raphael keep doing what you are doing with your music. It takes me back when I was teenager back in the 70's and music made you feel good. Keep teaching them by playing good music.

  • i think its a good thing that he is paying tribute. thats how i see it... i don't see anything wrong with going back to the some of the roots of soul, r/b... there are to many youngens out there that don't know anything about it... thats a shame.

  • yall sure if someone else came out and tried to follow his lead and make good music again like this..that yall wont go off and say "he is trying to be like so and so"..???? lol i hate that america does that.

  • Perfect imitation of Marvin Gaye,is this on the album? I don't recall hearing it

  • my favorite song on the album.

  • most overlooked singer/producer in the game, the man is a genius

  • I wish music would return to this state.

  • Grammy nominated :)

  • sound like old school marvin gaye love it!!

  • Man that CJ Hilton sure sounds like Marvin! I like it but damn! Perfect copy.

BTW this song is called Never Give You Up, not I like it ;)

  • very nice

  • Very smooth indeed!

  • need more artists like this now-a-days

  • YEP.... you should have the new cd by now :) and this is #11 and im loving it too

  • Omg i luv him he has a voice that not one else has!!!!!!!!

  • The guy singing with him is a young dude named CJ, check out the saadiq myspace page and hit the link

  • Is that Ray Parker Jr singing with him...lol

I know that sounds funny but close your eyes and think and say "if theres something strange, in your neighborhood, who you gone call?" and then listen to this song I PROMISE it sounds JUST like him....lol

  • The guy singing with him is a young dude named CJ, check out the saadiq myspace page and hit the link

  • damn i love this track.

i hope this is on his new cd!

  • This is my kinda music. Took these artist long enough. Estelle, RS, Duffy, etc!

  • 100 yard dash is my fave so far

  • do a search for "Rafael" Saadiq and see a BOMB live performace of 100 Yard Dash. It rocks. The person who posted misspelled his name, but the video is all that.

  • peace for that.

  • man i love this track can't wait 4 the album to drop september 16 yall be there i know i will.

  • My favorite so far!!!

    This & 100 Yard Dash!

  • Love him*, Love this song! ... He is a wonderful and bright creative talent - - - that always comes back "Fresh"!

  • love me some raph

  • 100 yard dash is the cut. Love that girl, hot. All of them bump. A consistent vibe condusive to any activity ... including my fav

  • his new album is gonna b so vintage ol school!! this is yet another example (how short the song is) not too much and damn sho not too little just like back then when the songs were about 2 minutes long lol! cant wait

  • Of all his new cuts drop'n right now, I like this one the best. It's hot, short, leaves you wanting more. It's catchy and vibes like a sound track to classic motion picture - I can hear that hook through the entire flick.

  • I need to amend this message. I take my laptop in the kitchen in the a.m. and play all Saadiq's new "The Way I See It" cuts while brewing my joe and love them all equally. This CD is about to be on fire. CAN'T WAIT!

  • you begin your day; the star of your own movie, with Mr. Saadiq providing the soundtrack and this song providing the intro to the movie. Roll Credits!

  • Damn, I can't wait for this CD to drop. Looks like it's going to be a fall thang. Leafs turning, football season, mild chill in the air with some new Saadiq old school sound. gets no better!

  • Love his old school soul!!

  • I'm hoping he has a longer version of this when the album drops. Another verse, some Stevie vocals ... Ray's the man!

  • *eargasms*

  • HELP ... I can't stop listening to this cut!

  • I Luv Luv Luv!!! This song it's so good. I like the way rapheal sounds and cj sounds.

  • Played this one for the wife this morning. She's as amazed as me by Raphael Saadiq and his ability to effortlessly produce a sound so authentic and chill. This music just puts you in a good mood. HSGOODY, Saadiq playing Stevie would be OUT OF THIS WORLD!!!!!

  • Saadiq did it again! I love the fact that Stevie is in this. The sound is so authentic, soulful, old school, motown ... I think the story of Stevie's life should start production ASAP with Saadiq as the star singing all of Stevie's music. That story would do 10 times what Ray did for J. Foxx

  • This is an awesome song. Raphael is so talented! This man is a true musical inspiration, he has a love of music that transcends to the core of "soul music". He has collaborated with so many talented people and the end product is always fresh and new. I love this man! I can't wait to buy this one.

  • NICE !!!!!!!

    I like it

its the title track from the up-coming album (i think)

I like CJ's vocals & when Ray comes in its real nice!!!!!

Looking forwrad to the new album & this is a nice lil' taster

    THANX FOR POSTING IT :)

i'm off to listen to it again now
