Ugh. A full-on hybrid of Lawrence Welk, The Price is Right, a Baptist tent revival and a three ring circus. What a waste of perfectly good technology.
Sorry to disappoint you, but the organ doesn't play itself, or set itself up for a song. That takes 40 years of experience and a little talent...not a lot, but enough to play these kind of songs.
Well as you can see organs have come a long way. The Teenie Genie was a starter model thatt sold for $595. It was introduce in 1971 and was around for a couple of years before being discontinued.
Sorry for the loss of your grandmother, but at least she had some fun with the TG, and so did you. Good for the both of you.
Hi Pat, The Cotempo was a nice model n the 70's, but it was a straight transistor organ...nothing like today's digital organs.
New Lowreys are outrageous. Your best bet is to check E bay and you'll be able to pick up a recent digital for 15 cents on the dollar. I would advise to stay away from Wersi. You can't give them away. Buy Lowrey, Roland, or Technicks. Any one of them will outperform a Wersi. Have fun with your organ.
@Organwiz1 My grandma on my mom's side, rest her soul ;( had a Lowrey Teenie Genie and it was one of my favorite things to do while I was there. Again, it was a late '70s unit, so it was a straight transistor organ, but still fun to play.

I'm fairly certain the Teenie Genie was replaced by the Adventurer.

Sounds like the organ does all the playing with not much input from the organist,so I would imagine this is a fun thing.
