I know these videos are really old but I still need to comment because of all the "glitch" comments got to me.

Just because a game has more than one, connect-the-dots way to do something does not mean the game is glitched. I suppose Super Metroid is a crappy game because of all those game-breaking glitches (even though ZM requires you to do it for special endings).

Well, this is why SMG2 includes green stars and ghosts, so people can see that many good devs encourage outside-the-box thinking.

yh the star chips were there, so you can get to the water at the top from a warp star, hope this helps

You actually were supposed to find the last star chip in the grass as well. But, thanks for the wall jump thing. It would save me from all that collecting.

if nintendo wasn't bothered to make this galaxy hard (well like harder then easy) they will make you use the normal green shell and get the power star (which will be VERY EASY!)

Well I now see from the comments what you should have done. But where is the other star chip? I didn't see it...lol. The whole time you were at the top of the water I'm saying to my Daughter, "Wall jump...Wall jump!" You finally heard me...lol.

Hey Octane, I'm sure the star chips were to be used to create a launch star that would take you up to that 2nd level of water, but since you found a shortcut into it, there was no point in getting the star chips.

The star chips allow access to the gold shell; the developers failed to understand that you can walljump to it

@Luigidude11 I use a KWorld DVD Maker USB 2.0 and it works pretty well. I recommend the hardware. As for the software it comes bundled with, I haven't used it myself, but I hear it's pretty useless.

@Luigidude11 I use the Easycap USB Video Capture Adapter--you can find it on Amazon pretty cheap. It takes some fooling around with to get things working right (and you'll definitely want some A/V splitters), but once you do, it works just fine.

@SuperGolemio I was looking into the EasyCap for live streaming; have you used it for that? If my netbook can handle it, I think I might try that out.

@octaneblue My laptop is pretty ridiculously bad hardware-wise and it can handle the EasyCap fine. I think it should work for livestreaming. The framerate on the computer screen gets pretty bad when recording, but 1) you won't need to record (you can send the video/audio to your computer without recording anything) and 2) should you want to record with it, the output file has fine framerate.

Heh. The chips were supposed to form a launch star that shoots you up to where the golden shell is, but it is possible to skip that part completely. I did the same thing as you because I didn't want to deal with those ugly Gringills.

the point of the star chips was to launch you into the upper water section. there's a glitch however which you did where you wall jump. i used that glitch on my second play through it's saves so much time.
