I have to say there are lots of great speakers out there i have read alot of these reviews and some say jl suck i have to say that jl is a good brand but they are way over priced alot of there products are over priced maybe all there products are over priced they do hit hard they pick up the lows really well my personal opinion I like that Kicker has the solo baric the best square design well built. Rockford has good quality for a good price JL good speakers but there over priced.

A wall socket is a 60Hz AC signal which is within the sub range frequencies. Now this isn't to say it's a nice 60Hz signal, but never the less it is a 60Hz signal...

Besides if car audio where truly AC woudn't they have Green Black and White instead of red and black. Audio is usually delivered at a very low DC voltage in car audio usually 3VDC to 7VDC (typically). hope this helps you out.
