I am very fond of Castlevania, but the most recent one, Lords of Shadow, didn't really feel like a Castlevania game. I thought it was fun, but I didn't see the point of "re-envisioning" something that didn't need it in the first place... that, and the game was basically just a bucket filled with gameplay mechanics from other popular games.

I love this game. This song is one of my favorites. I like the idea of battling baddies, manage, raise, and evolve innocent devils, creating weapons from materials from fallen enemies, a very intriguing and interesting story (This game timeline happens after my other favorite game, Castlevania III: Dracula's Curse), cool characters, etc. Etc. The list goes on and on. They need to make a new game continuing Castlevania III.

This is actually one of my personal favorite castlevania games. You can use a variety of weapons, raise your own demons to help you in combat from fairies to titans, and this soundtrack is freaking magic. ._.

You must play this title because is the Precuele for Castlevania:

Symphony of the Night (Akumajo Dracula X: Nocturne in the Moonlight in japanese).

Never conclude one thing before you meet one that like the "old" 2D versions of Castlevania.

Castlevania or akumajou dracula (Demon Castle Dracula) 悪魔城ドラキュラ has litterary changed my view on life itself. I am proud to say that my FIRST game to play was not DOOM, Duke Nukem, Mario or Donkey Kong, It was Super Castlevania 4 on the Super Nintendo Entertainment System, and the day today I still play it and enjoy my past.
