Do u know clannad is based off a video game? same with the manga (the art looks entirely different from the show!) i rather watch the show since its more close to the game (in art). but i believe the movie is based off the manga. I watched this series 3 times and counting X3

But they don't spoil anything while you're watching the first season.

most people wouldnt understand others like me who would cry over a sad and beautiful anime like clannad it sort of makes me feel lonely but watching clannad makes me feel like the world isnt a horrible place and that there are others out there just like me, this probably sounds a little to corny but this anime along with other sads ones just feel so real to me and i cant help but get emotional when sad moments in anime happen.

it's funny to wath the first opening when you have seen all the season 2 because you can notice interessing details. for example : ushio running in the flower field exactly like in the happy end ; fuuko who finds sleeping ushio in the forest like in the happy end too, tomoya robot who is waking up in the snow just like when ushio said that he was time for him to live his happy life in the other world in season 2 ...

in clanned trains kill everyone... that Fuko girl get's hit in the face over 90 miles an hour by a train.... she flies off spilling blood only to get hit by another train... ohh gawd... her friends watch in horror as trains go over her dead body to get to their destinations. But Fuko is alive and as she walks home she looks like a zombie. But then.... a Spartan sharp-shooter that survived the flood comes in and shoots her because he think she is flood. Fuko head flies off and Elfen Lied is born!

i'm watching this anime soon, but ppl say it's really good especially season 1. Hoever, all Key openings give me a specific vibe:

1. Clannad- all jolly/happy--> like we're going on an adventure :)

2. Clannad After Story- just wanna cry, but full of happiness and hope in the end

3. Kanon 2006- So serene and surreal, it's drawing me in to watch it

4. Air- Inspiring, but a little melancholy

After finishing ~After Story~... it's amazing how well they hid her in the op and ed of both the first series and ~After Story~. She's there, but if you haven't seen the movie or read and completed the visual novel, she's completely unnoticeable. I totally thought she was Nagisa before ~After Story~.
