@chinavasion sorry but you are wrong!!! you need a 12v car battery and you can hook it up. also if you like you caould use house speekers that have a bare wire conection. make sure that there is a fuse on the power side. i test radios ALL THE TIME and this works great!
While this is provisionally true I know for certain that the DVB-T signal used in NZ uses a MPEG-4 compression where many of the car DVD players (including ours) has a MPEG-2 rating.
You may want to double-check with suppliers before getting a car DVD with DVB-T before putting your money down.
Unfortunately no. There are four major DTV standards DVB, ATSC, ISDB and DMB. DMB and DVB seem to get along with each other fine but ATSC and ISDB appear to need their own equipment.
There are also different compressions used within DVB.
However, if you are looking for a car DVD with digital TV functionality you will need to look for one that is ATSC capable as DVB-T is the format used in Europe and Asia.
hi how can i connect it at home to see how it works before connecting it to a car.i need your help please...

DVB-T is the standard used in New Zealand and Australia. So yes, it will work there.

Hi,
Do any of the car DVD players you sell have an option for quickly dimming or turning off the display for night time driving?

Hi BonafideGamer,
We are sorry but the DVB-T function won't probably work in New Zealand.

hi natr234,
This car DVD does have a front iPod slot.
However, if you are looking for a car DVD with digital TV functionality you will need to look for one that is ATSC capable as DVB-T is the format used in Europe and Asia.
