  • Beautifully made track from a criminally underrated band

  • really really like

  • diamonds, fur coat, champagne

    woman, cadillac, cocaine

melodies speed away, blaze of light

  • One of my faves. Fucking brilliant!

  • gods of electro

  • one of best tunes ever

  • Many bands have copped influence from these guys for sure but Vega cannot be touched "You can't do it"

  • @joeydangerously haha That's my favorite thing any musician has ever said. "You guys can't do this shit, man." The La Edad de Oro videos of him from '83 are awesome.

  • @strangeparty

    So an average Tuesday eh?

  • Vega baby!

  • and people talk crap about New Order for their use of a drum machine?!?!?!?

  • a soul for disguise

  • a soulful disguise

  • a Soul for the skies

  • @strangeparty I like how you think.

  • Much love from the T.O to New yawk for dis.

  • This music is beyond description, absolutely incredible

  • OK, who's the fucking troll who disliked?

  • This is sexy <3

  • makes my spine tingle

  • reminds a bit on Yello

  • Anyone know the exact lyrics to the verses of this song?

  • a woman, cadillac, cocaine.

  • great. suicide was one of the best bands of the 20th century.

  • Just superb!

  • I love love love this song. It's brilliant.

  • wow... WOW !!!!

  • this makes me want to get into a street fight.

  • @boogienights2 : LOL

  • These guys are great, have a few of their albums but not this one

I read that Alan Vega once saw a girl do a striptease to this song at a topless bar. Sadly, that may have been the closest they came to mainstream success. They deserve more credit, considering how vast their influence was in the 80s

  • @CTyankee4277 This is their best album, in my opinion. You should get it. The synth bass really drives these songs.

  • @MordaciousFilms

Oh I'll definitely buy it at some point. The problem is I'd like to buy it on LP. What you see here is the CD version. The original LP cover from 1980 is totally different. Based on what I've heard here and on other tracks it sounds great, so I dont doubt what you're saying. I just wish I could've seen these guys at CBGBs back in the day.

  • Thank you for posting..have been waiting for this..brilliant.!
