he fudged up the first line of the second verse, and alice just isn't the same without layne, but i absolutely love them anyways. and duvall is a great singer, albeit he is hit or miss with his performances. he's great live, just his presence is nothing on layne's. layne is flawed, which is something alot of people can relate with, but duvall will grow on the people who love alice, just as johnson has with acdc, but like the old singer/ new singer acdc debate, this debate will never end

Just saw Alice at the Sonisphere festival at Knebworth. I'm a long time 'Chains fan and loved Layne's voice but they kicked ass, only thing was they wern't on long enough. They sounded awesome and Duvall does Staley's legacy justice, which is no mean feat. Alice still rocks....hard

And have you even heard the song where Elton John plays the piano? You'll find it on youtube, go check it out. Of course, the piano parts won't be there, it's live. But it's still a great song, and it won't turn into an Elton John pop song just because he plays some piano on it.
