The mind control plasmid that Yi Suchong (the doctor in the frame showing Jack as a baby) implemented was partially reversed by Tenenbaum (by partially, I mean that "Would You Kindly" no longer affected Jack), and the complete hold on him was removed by two doses of a special antidote (also created by Suchong).

I do not remember, in years of gaming, since nes to ultra geforces with 8 cores pcs. I never get a so dramatic scene. This is something strong. Valve, old LucasArts, old Square, Looking Glass, Bioware, Konami, and Rockstar. These are the names who build the levl we get theses days in games. I did not played Bioshock, I can´t afford a PC or a 360 or a PS3, yet, but Bioshock, with it´s greats mistakes(I hat the revival chambers)

Andrew Ryan is your father (you are Jack Ryan, his son although Andrew does not know it until pretty much the end). The final boss is Atlas (Fontaine) a guy who started a war in Rapture.

Jack was at the very office entrance to Ryan yet Ryan instead of calling off the splicers and welcoming Jack in he unleashes a horde of splicers to kill Jack before he breaks into his office.

Yes at the start Ryan didn't know who Jack was I'm not arguing this. I think the game left a few hole plots and I don't mean the unaswered questions but the contradictory parts of the story that disagree with each other. It's still a fine game with an awesome story, I enjoyed it very much 9 stars!

lol Andre Ryan was trying to kill Jack. Andrew controls the splicers with some kind of phermone that's released in the air. Though the Splicers are insane they obey orders you will see this in the bad ending verson. Andrew never called off the splicers even right when you made it to his office.

Those two ideas make sense but it never occured to me that Ryan cared about any one, I think Ryan killed Jacks mother when he found out she gave away their son to Suchon.

I had my own idea that Jack probably can't obey a suicide order from any one except Fontain. The game could have made all of this clearer in my opinion.

I suspected Atlas was up to no good with his breaks in accent and eagerness to get the key to rapture once you get to Ryan's office, but the brainwashing bit took me completely by surprise. I remember being dumbfound when Ryan takes control off you, this scene is definitely the best 'acting' in the game.

Man, I beat this game last night. Great game! The whole time, I never noticed Atlas saying "Would you kindly" until it was pointed out here. Then I was "no! no! no!" and he made me kill him, and I kept yelling at the screen "Stop, dangit, now I don't want to kill him!" This was such an amazing, creative twist.
