@vaknyuszi The forerunners were adept at many artifical worlds, making the Halo network and the Ark (which is effectively OUTSIDE of the milky way), so to create a artificial hollowed out sphere world with either an artifical star or just a dwarf star with low enough radiation out-put for sustainable topical life on the portion of the sphere directly facing the star, I wouldn't put it past their tech level.

Sgt. J. Forge is not master chief. Halo wars was 20 years BEFORE the events of halo combat evolved, and the chief was in the spartan program as a child, he didn't have to join as an adult.

And in those one's it does say Forge is somehow related to Chief.....And also my cousin knows everything there is to know about Halo because he is one of the ppl who helped dseign not only Halo 3 but ODST aswell. And he helped write out the story for the games..And BOOKS.

Forge isn't Master Chief but he was somehow related to the man who became Master chief......and uummm this game is set before the events of Halo 1 a.k.a its a prequel......the reason why Master chief is the only Spartan in the other Halo's is because during the fight in space betwenn the covenent fleet and the UNSC every last ship but the Chiefs hsip was destroyed....and every other Spartan were on those ships.....chief was the only one on his.....so yaa they all got blown up.

They dont. If you've read the books U'll know that Master Chief and 1 other Spartan made it on the Autumn, but the other was nearly killed and put in a cryo tube. They recovered her after the events on Halo and she survived.

As for the others, they live.

They still would have reported on it and archived it in their information banks. Cortana, being a machine AI and capable of processing huge amounts of data, would have known about the flood from the beginning.

No they didn't, without its faster-than-light drive, the Spirit of Fire is left drifting in space and they can't get back to Earth, and Cortana would never have been able to see the data anyway because she never would have had access to it. Remember in Aliens how Ripley was in hyper-sleep for 57 years, that is essentially what would have happened to the crew on the Spirit of Fire.

No they couldn't have done that because they were drifting and space, and they couldn't get back to Earth, so they never would have given the message back to UNSC high command. And therefor Cortana would have never known about
