I don't think people hate christians. I think they are annoyed of simple bs answers. I am convinced Christianity isn't real, authentic, or have a realistic basis. Why do christians say that homosexuality is wrong when Jesus never spoke out against it himself? That's the problem when most people try to condemn the Bible. There is an Old Testament and a New Testament. A lot of the rules of the Old Testament no longer apply. Yet we had evidence that was overwhelming that the earth moved around the sun. Should the scientists have disregarded their "evidence" and relied on "faith" and continued in ignorance and false belief? Faith is a good thing, but it must be based on something reliable. Our understandings can be wrong.

Muloc. Not true. Christ was a liberal pacifist who preached for charity and altruism 99% of the time. 1% of the time He spoke of being faithful to your wife. But He never promoted bigotry. 'Christ' was the second coming of gOD. What you people don't seem to understand is that Christians are sinners just like the atheists. We try to live a sinless life, but it is not possible. We are not perfect. Nobody can be. I don't think people hate christians. I think they are annoyed of simple bs answers. I am convinced Christianity isn't real, authentic, or have a realistic basis. There may be a God but, he can't be a God that the bible teaches. Anyone who says this is God is an ass. How can one prove the unprovable? Another point is dictating behavior according to an unseen God. I think all stories about God are not real. They should have a reality show and have a God contest and see whose God wins.

Why do christians say that homosexuality is wrong when Jesus never spoke out against it himself? That is why I don't like their hypocrisy, they don't condemn money lenders (banks etc.) or shellfish eaters or linen wearers, they use the bible to justify personal prejudices which they would have even if they were atheists. Religion is responsible for spreading more hatred and bigotry throughout the world than anything else. One can be a good, kind, moral, loving person without belief in a god.

The bible also advocates marrying the man who raped you and condemning money lenders (do you have a mortgage or loan by any chance?) The bible is out of date with issues like homosexuality among many other things, you cannot pic'n'mix which is why it is fundamentally flawed. Homophobia would be considered a sin by Jesus- on that I have no doubt...just don't be a hypocrite! That's the problem when most people try to condemn the Bible. There is an Old Testament and a New Testament. A lot of the rules of the Old Testament no longer apply. Most of them were meant for the Israelites at that time. And there is no such thing as "homophobia". Jesus DOES have a problem with immorality, though. Go ahead and stand by your post. Jesus didn't say that the rules "do not apply" at all, you know that. Matter of fact, he said he came to FULFILL those laws, not abolish them like you would wish.
