  • Good video, wish we knew who was fighting....

  • Para mí los 16 mejores heavyweight´s de la historiaz son: 16- Floyd Patterson; 15- Jim Jeffries; 14- Evander Holyfield; 13-"Jersey" Joe Walcott; 12- Sonny Liston; 11- Mike Tyson; 10-Larry Holmes; 9- Ezzard Charles; 8-George Foreman; 7-Joe Frazier; 6-Gene Tunney; 5-Jack Dempsey; 4-Jack Johnson; 3-Rocky Marciano; 2-JOE LOUIS; 1-MUHAMMAD ALI.

  • Este video está simplemente genial!!!

  • Proud to be swede, when you think that we have had a Heavyweight champion, when it really was just one champ!!

  • @connymat R.I.P. Lindy Lindmoser (Amateur HW from Vancouver who went 3 rounds with Ali in the games in 1960: Rome) Lindy was just 5-11 and 180, but only Bogdan Korac ever really beat him, on the local scene. B K won a silver at the games in about 1956. Ingo was something else, too. Great right hand.. one of the best ever... but Patterson's chin wasn't in the top 100, though

  • damn john dempsey is a brawler in 1:19

  • the heavyweight division is in bad need of some memorable moments in a hurry.. hasn't been one in awhile... V. Kiltschko turning a lardass into ground beef doesn't qualify...

maybe VK needs to face the Ruskie giant and chop him down..

  • 6 things that have destroyed Pro boxing, especially the heavyweight division:

    1- 5 Different governing bodies

2- Fat and out of shape sloppy heavyweights

    3-Don King

    4-Mike Tyson and

5- It started when Liston quit in fight number one, and took a dive in the rematch. I believe he was either under a death threat or paid off

    6-All the 'Rocky' movies

  • what does mike tyson have to do with it .

  • Look at his 'outside the ring' conduct. He is a thug, a rapist, and a general all around bad actor. I remember when he was in Vancouver. Not good. But perhaps he is your kind of guy. Guys like him are poor ambassadors for any sport. do you understand why?

  • Yes I understand why he is the way he is he came from a awful place and was picked on as a kid. as far at the rape goes he didn't rape that girl and alot of his anger and rage came from going to prison for something he did not do and being turned on by people that he thought loved him for im mean come on he was worth over 100mil and the best lawyer they could find for him ina rape case delt with taxes I know that he is a good man just didn't have the right people on his team.

  • Why you think Tyson destroyed pro boxing ?

Majroity of boxing fans think that era of Tyson Holyfield Lewis Bowe was secend golden era of heavyweight after Ali Frazier Foreman ?

For me the reson is as you say 5difrent bodies and no boxer who want to be undespiuted champion ... i dont understund why kliczko no try to be undisputed and people champion..Oo

Secend problem is there are no epic fights today . to epic fight you must have two great boxers ... today always is chamipion and week contender

  • @rudziu102

Ali-Forman era = good. Joe Louis reign of around 15 years = the best. The HW div has been crap for over 20 years. 5 div is what wrecked it. and Tyson is just another bad character n a game run by org. crime

  • maybe Louis is best but his era is not better than tyson holy lewis bowe becouse here you have 4 great heavyweight :) if you have rivalization between 4 fighters is better for fans than if one champ with boring fights becouse you know that he easly beat oponent ... for me Bowe Holyfield first fight is best fight ever .. but this is only my opinion

    ps sory for my englisch

  • @rudziu102 Tyson or Holyfield wouldn't have lasted 3 rounds with Louis... OR Marciano.. but you did say only your opinion. Fair enough. The HW division was poisoned by the second Liston/Clay fight and has never recovered. Just my opinion though.. I did see both generations

  • @sparwood8 i dont know who was more natural gifted and talented ...tyson or louis . Maybe louis .... but i think that progres of medicine beteween Louis and Tyson is so big that Tyson or Holly have in 80/90 s so good medical care ( steroids ,epo and many another thinks like this ) and more profesional trainging that becosue of this Louis from his time cant win with 90s fighters .

But as alawys that only my opinion ;p

  • @rudziu102 Well this is very subjective. I think Louis (Joe) hit harder than any heavyweight in boxing history. I'd let Mikey steroid all he wanted, and then put a 26 yr old Louis against him (Yes he could train with weights and fight at 210 instead of 200) He would knock Tyson out in less than 3 rounds. but then, just my h/o. Holyfield good, but I liked Goeroge forman too. Better than Tyson or H/F'ld, but not when he was 50, but say 25. I'd rank George about 4 best overall all time

  • and in time of tyson there are only 3 divisions and he was champ of all: )

  • @rudziu102

Yeh! Then he met a guy named Ruddick.

  • @sparwood8

Your an idiot the 90's were amazing.

  • @403766 U are an idiot b/c you have never seen the real thing. 90's sucked. Tyson was a jerk and a lousy champion

  • @sparwood8 Did I call you an idiot? SO sorry. Meant to say *punk*

  • @sparwood8 Tyson in the 90's, Liston in the 60's, although I think Liston was set up. Also IMO paid to take a dive in fight number 2. No way the ref should have ever stopped that fight

  • @sparwood8 Wors thing that happened to boxing: Don King

  • @sparwood8

Wtf many boxing experts consider the 90's the most competitve along with the 70's and was the goldenera of attention it was so great, nt to mention HW's were far bigger then. You had lennox lewis, evander hoylfeild, mike tyson, riddick bowe, frank bruno, ray mercer, david tua george foreman, larry holmes, andrew golata, michael moorer, shannon briggs, razor ruddock and many more.

Far better than the 60's which sucked, only liston and ali, and liston only beat floyd patterson...

  • @403766 Liston was a chump, but he beat everyone to get there. Noone today hits as hard as he did. Best era was Louis reign, and up to about 1960. Ali would whip anyone alive today, if he was like 23 y.o., and I can't stand the man

  • @sparwood8

Where on earth do you get that from? I'm sure even klitschkos(who have highest KO% f any champion) can hit as hard liston, let alone tyson, lyle, formean, frazier, shavers, briggs(most round 1 KOes for a champion) tua.

And Im not denying louis is one of the greatest, but to discriminate against new amazing HW fighters because they are not oldies is stupid.greats u shud check out if you like boxing, liston ali, foreman frazier, holmes tyson, holyfeild lewis, wlad vitali

  • u talking about valuev? david haye beat him already

  • haha poor billy conn woulda beat louis if he didnt start brawling... curse of being an irish boxer lol

  • I think you might be right. Conn was perhaps the most under rated 175 pounder in boxing history. Silly Irishman, 'I wanted to finish him" MAN he was good.

  • you didn't fucking bring any wins from tyson.

  • Comment removed

  • such a good song for boxing videos

  • Salinas!!.

You are a gentleman for not putting the video ali vs holmes, ali was sick.

But you did not put the rematch of ali with frazier

  • the music is from requiem for a dream. i believe its called summer overture. it's a great fit for this amazing vid. nice work.

  • does anyone know the title of this

     soundtrack??

  • 2:56 greatest k.o of all time that i have ever seen in my life

  • yea man

    perfect right to the chin

  • is the bit where joe louis ko's max schmeling sped up?

  • Time to add Vitali to the video. :)

  • if he win haye maybe he can tell that he is widly recognized champion .. but today whe have 3 heavyweight champions why you want add Vitali maybe Wladymir or Haye?

  • Joe Louis is a fukcing GOD!!!!!!!!!

  • 2:34 is awesome Joe Louis walking back to his corner as the towel goes flying.

  • Woah, that was way more entertaining than I thought it was going to be. Watching the different fighters win the championship and then watching them lose it was fascinating. I think it speaks volume that the first face that re-appears, of course, is Muhammad Ali.

  • I know yeh, i felt the same, the bit when Joe Louis ko's Max Schmeling is awesome

  • whats the music in the background called?

  • Great Video!

  • Awesome.

  • Nice job!

  • What fight is that in 2:43

  • Joe Louis vs Billy Conn I

  • Awesome, thanks

  • all i can say is AWESOME!

todays boxing just cant beat it in my opinion

  • Man, those were the days for boxing, up until the 70-80's.

  • great video
