Its by far my favorite kung fu form on UTube. Its enormously beautiful and incredibly powerful at the same time. I wish I could execute my forms that way. Whoever this is is truly a master of this form. Are there any more forms on UTube from this martial artist?
Wow! Now theres a Godfather to be fearful of :P Yeah he was saying about it during his last visit. I can't do it though because i've asthma, plus i'd like to finish college.
wow, is this footage from the kung fu tournament in houston which was the first of it kind as far as getting kung fu practioners together? I would love to see more if anyone has footage from this tournament.
erm...I don't see the translation in the long fist book. would you happen to know the page? (we're talking about the green long fist book by YJM & Jeffery Bolt, right?!)
Sorry but I don't agree that it's forced at all. That's the way Dr Yang teaches it, with a sense of enemy and good explosive fajing. Either way that is from the US.
Maybe you guys misunderstood. I have seen Dr. Yangs and his classmates and when you compare to them it seems a lttle forced "but" he has excellent jing and truthfully it's the best long fist that i've seen so far on a non master level.
Excellent dynamics. Very, very good performance ;)

oh my gosh, my next form is tiger and swallow (different form, but still simular). I still think wushu is the best to look at when it comes to forms.

Thank you 19th lohan for the post. What is the name of this form?
wynstonsmyth 5 years ago
Shao fu yen/Xiao hu yin= Little tiger swallow
19thlohan 5 years ago
in the YMAA website it's written that it is Xiao Hu Yan and means Tiger Roar Sequence...
darth8freak 5 years ago
In the long fist book it's called little tiger swallow and that's the correct translation. Not sure why the changed it on the website.

I've just spoken (like 4 or 5 hours ago) and he told me it meant Roaring Tiger Swallow...

Master Yang is the master i train under, how do you know him?
Davo1250 4 years ago
He's my master. 'tis as simple as that...
darth8freak 4 years ago
Cool, where do you train (as in which country)?
Davo1250 4 years ago
In Paris, France. And you?
darth8freak 4 years ago
Sweet. I'm in Dublin, Ireland. Hope we'll meet some day, maybe at one of the summer camps ;)

Your Long Fist is the BEST I have seen. Superior form, and power!!!

It seems a little forced but way above what people do in the US.

what do you mean "a little forced"? When you train you're supposed to get power and sense of enemy and speed and balance etc. That guy is very good!
