People, for very curly hair like afro hair or extremely curly, you have to use flat iron to straighten it, and work it in sections and layers for a good result. Then, by the end, you just blow dry it a little to give more movement and not a too "flat" result.

@96gothchick For curly afro hair to go straight, you have to use a flat iron. And then only after it, you just use a round brush and a blow dryer to give movement and smooth to the hair, so it won't look "flat".

@Lorraaiinnee I think it's because the blow dryers add less heat to the hair. Straighteners and flat irons apply way more and leave the hair brittle over time and makes it fall out.
