with Kenyan mentality of greed and disobedience of the law, even if the are other income opportunities elsewhere they will still sell charcoal and destroy the environment. Kenyan needs a full cultural shift starting from the president. Raila has done his part and should continue in that way but the president needs to start acting like he cares about the country and others will follow.
He talks sence. We need more of these educated technocrats in place of those morons currently in parliament. Kenya has become a cesspit of corruption, sleeze and crime.
TK is a brilliant while operating within a controlled environment - think Magadi Soda, KQ, the Dream Team of PSs. I'm not sure he's ballsy enough to deal with the ambiguity and monkey-show that is Kenyan politics. He would make a great non-elected minister.
I highly doubt if Naikunni can go for elective office...he is too much of a technocrat n behind the desk manager to survive the dirty playground of Kjd politics.
I just wish our politicians would be thinking anywhere close to this. Other than putting a case for counties to be run by professionals, the most important thing is a change in leadership: "...the greatest risk we can take is to try the same old politics with the same old players and expect a different result. "
