They don't support me, but they did call when I was in the hospital to make sure I was ok. @MrBlackblowpop Having a good vaginal depth is mostly, if not exclusively, related to sex. If you're receiving penetrative intercourse from a partner then you would want to make sure that you have enough depth otherwise their penis/dildo/whatever they're using will hit the end of your vagina, which isn't idea. The average depth of a post-op vagina is about 5 inches, which is usually enough for an average sized penis.
@grishno what happens when they hit it? a friend told me that it rips and you can like die or something. but im not being mean when i say this but GURRRL what you talken about 5 inchs being average. I have never seen a 5 one before always 6-7-8 inchs
If they hit the end it's just uncomfortable... it's not going to rip through your skin or anything. I mean, if someone poked your arm or stomach with their penis would it rip through? No.

I actually don't know many girls who don't have some sort of complication. I had the original vaginoplasty with a surgeon who did not believe in doing skin grafts in order to create an efficient amount of depth (Seghers) ... so ... I had to have a skin graft by another surgeon (Brassard) who did an excellent job (with what he had to work with since the original surgery was slightly a botched job) and then I had to have touch ups (Meltzer) because of some slight complications. Fun stuff.
@Mirabella98102 Surgery is really more of an art than a science. It's almost impossible to know what the final result will be during surgery because of all of the decision that are made and all of the swelling that is happening. It's kinda scary to go into this whole surgery thing without having 100% knowledge of what you'll end up with. I guess we all take that leap and just hope for the best.

@greenhawk46 I'm pretty sure that I fell off the face of the planet before I got my surgery. I'd say that it started a year ago when I got a job working full time in the transgender community here in SF. All of the sudden I was spending 40 hours a week talking about/dealing with gender issues and I didn't want to spend much more of my free time doing that.

He i have another quistion for you, How does it feel now you have an vigina and put a vibrator or something like that in it for the first time? Is it like a graut OOO YESSS iv'e made it im all woman now tell us about that feeling.

@andreradio yea, that's what I wonder too-how does it feel? Now that you are post-op, try not to fall off the radar-because post-op info is sparse and the fyi value of your experience is invaluable

@greenhawk46 I'm pretty sure that I fell off the face of the planet before I got my surgery. I'd say that it started a year ago when I got a job working full time in the transgender community here in SF. All of the sudden I was spending 40 hours a week talking about/dealing with gender issues and I didn't want to spend much more of my free time doing that.
That said, I'm trying really hard to keep up with the updates and stuff. This kind of information is really good to get out there.
