  • Well brother, I'm afraid that I'm going to have to agree to disagree with you. I can see that this is going no where for either of us haha. At least we both agree that salvation is by faith in Christ alone, and everything after that builds off of that fundamental truth. If I might offer a bit of constructive criticism, I think your sermons would highly benefit ffrom some love, compassion, and at least a hint of God's forgiveness, not just hellfire all the time. Just my opinion though. Good luck.

  • @ToxicZombie8606 - This is really zbay777 using a friend's computer. Let me just say this in response to you, you are not seriously seeking the Truth. You are "wrestling" with God, not me. The Word can cause your "comfort zone" (false assurance) to shrink enough for just "the least hint" of the fear of God to begin in you. That will be the beginning of wisdom. This has not yet begun. It is not my lack of godly character that bothers you, it is God's Word. You cannot handle meat.[ Heb.5]

  • Moreover, we are no longer under the law, because Jesus has set us free from it. Even the New Testament states that anyone trying to find salvation by the law (i.e. circumsision in Galatians) will not have it, so your remark about changing "the law" is not relevant, either. Something I've noticed about you- you act as if you are infallible when MANY people who have more access to resources for bible interpretation disagree with you. God calls us to Love and humility, not angry condesencion.

  • @zbay777 - I beg your pardon, but Moses Law has been abolished, and this is quite relevant. There is in the New Covenant "the Law Of Faith", and this includes commandments. This is what circumspection refers to in Eph.5, wise vs foolish. It is seen in that context to be relative to the parable of the ten virgins in Mt.25 (5 wise, 5 foolish.) IF there is no law, there is no sin. I think you probably believe we may still sin? Therefore there must be a present Law. ("the obedience of faith"Rom.1:5)

  • (cont.)Access to human resources does not a good interpreter make. Nor does human wisdom equate with discernment of God's Words. The academicaly inclined in the Lord's days on this planet were the Pharisees and Saducees (in Jerusalem.) Those so inclined today are the apostate theologians and seminary byproducts of institutions of denial, blind guides. The understanding of the Word comes only from the Holy Spirit. This is likely why you are having such a wrestling match with it all.

  • On the contrary, I was stating that Paul does NOT contradict Jesus. Hence the whole "complimentary" thing. Also, I would prefer if you not put words in my mouth. When I said wrestling, I was not implying that I deny scripture. I meant that I try and understand how paul's writings fit in with what Jesus said. And now you are the one twisting Scripture. In Cor 5, this man was delivered to Satan so that "his spirit may be saved in the day of the Lord Jesus." Context is important.

  • @zbay777 - "Wrestling" was not clear. So, you are struggling to "rightly divide" the Word of truth. I can understand that, also that you do not feel you are denying the Word by emphasizing some scriptures at the expense of others (albeit, unintentionally.) Then you may well find the true understanding, with patience, and in God's time. Re.1Cor.5:the word "may" is conditional, the spirit is neither soul nor body. He was delivered to Satan "for the destruction of the flesh",He was not Heb.6,YET.

  • everytime I try to watch these videos, something inside tells me to turn away. I am not sure if it is the Lord or not.

  • Why not test it with the Word of God and see who is trying to lead you? "Try all things, cleave unto that which is good." If it is according to God's Word it is good and we are to keep it, abide in it and by it. If it is not, we are to reject it. In this trial you will find out what voice that is which tries to turn you from the Word of God. I do pray so, anyway. Most get it backwards these days.

  • yet another false teacher.

  • Thank you very much. That is what the heretics called My Lord. Now they say this toward His servants. A man is known by his fruits and the ministry he proclaims. Bad fruit means a bad tree.Bad fruit, bad branch, bad tree, bad root. The root of your heretical position is the problem. You cannot reform such a tree. You must repent of it. Christ will uproot it in the Day of His appearing. Until that Day, it will only continue to bear more bad fruit. That is what an evil tree does.

  • ok then so by your logic(false teaching) every time you sin you have to be re-saved or do you believe that you do not sin? Which fitts this false teaching.

Soory my friend but God said "ALL HAVE SINNED"!

"If a man says he is without sin he is a liar"

  • A man may receive the atonement of Chirst only once, and through faith this grace of God is dispensed. (Rom 3:25, Eph 2:8-9, etc.) 1 John tells us more than all men sin, saved or lost. It tells us that "*IF* WE CONFESS, HE (God) IS FAITHFUL AND JUST TO FORGIVE US OUR SINS AND CLEANSE US OF ALL UNRIGHTEOUSNESS." This is written to saints, the entire chapter, the entire epistle. Paul tells us in Ephesians 5:1-7 (just as in Eph 2) salvation is of God. Also, that we must be obedient, or lose it..

  • @offline111 Sheer curiosity- what do u say to "I will NEVER leave you nor forsake you," we are "sealed by the Holy Spirit UNTIL the day of redemption" with no way to break that seal listed in scripture, and most importantly, Jesus said, "Whosoever believeth in me I will never cast out." Moreover, just because someone disagrees with you on a highly confusing and controversial doctrine does not mean they will be damned in the last day. It simply means we are human and don't get everything.

  • @zbay777 - I say this. We must receive the whole counsel of the Word or we have deceived ourselves in thinking we love God. You can't make some scripture go away by only quoting what you like and denying all the Word that proves your interpretation is false. I take it you read the Bible, so, why have you missed all the verses that contradict what you have chosen to believe? There is no contradiction in God's Word. The promises of God's faithfulness are ONLY for those who are faithful to Him.

  • @offline111 Trust me man, I haven't missed them. I wrestle with them nearly everyday. But if what u say about scripture not contradicting itself is true, then it ALSO couldn't mean that Jesus will cast us out of His family. Because He doesn't say, "I won't cast you out unless u sin so many times that I finally give up on you." He says, "I won't cast you out." Therefore, I view Paul's statements in Hebrews as complimentary to what Jesus said, not contradictory.

  • @zbay777 - IF what I am saying about scripture never contradicting itself is true??? You don't believe the Word is infallible? If you don't there is no point in this discussion. God has delcared that He will preserve His Word and not a single "jot or tittle" shall pass from it. Rev. 22:18-19 places two curses on any changing of the Word, taking from, adding to. All liars are consigned to the LAKE OF FIRE. The Word cannot be KEPT if it is changed.(De.4:2, Pr.36:6)

    Paul does not contradict Christ.

  • (cont.)Jesus said:"Lk 9:24-25 For whosoever will save his life shall lose it: but whosoever will lose his life for my sake, the same shall save it. For what is a man advantaged, if he gain the whole world, and lose himself, or be CAST AWAY?" Paul said:"1 Cor. 9:26-27 I therefore so run, not as uncertainly; so fight I, not as one that beateth the air: But I keep under my body, and bring it into subjection: lest that by any means, when I have preached to others, I myself should be a CASTAWAY."

  • (cont.2)So, you "wrestle" with the scriptures nearly every day", denying some and embracing others? Not consistent. All things in Christ are "yea and amen." We must find how it all fits, the Spirit must do this for us. We must surrender to God to find the Truth of this matter, hold it fast, live by it ("be ye doers of the Word and not hearers only, deceiving your own selves/souls.") Christ promised to "never leave nor forsake" those that "HEAR His voice" AND "FOLLOW/OBEY" Him. See it yet?

  • (cont.3)Adam fell from God through disobedience. King Saul fell from the covenant through disobedience.Solomon returned to idols and was rejected according to the Word. Judas fell "through transgression" from his office of Apostle. Hymenaeus and Alexander 1 Tim.1:20 "delivered unto Satan".1 Cor.5, a saint "delievered to Satan"(cast out of the church of Christ.) Those who take from the Word are removed from the Book Of Life. Rev.22:18-19. How clear does it have to get? Stop wrestling with God.

  • (cont.4) Forget what you have been programmed with by your teachers. Go to God (1 John 2:27) and by His Spirit receive the Truth. If you are a true child of God, He is to be your teacher, not those who serve the idols of their seminaries, and denominations(he that soweth discord among brethren, and he that is a liar, are both abominations to God (Pr.6:19.) There is ONE TRUTH. Teaching heresy is LYING and SOWING DISCORD. This is NOT serving God. "Choose ye this day whom ye shall serve."Josh 24:15

  • OSAS lie. Which is not another; but there be some that trouble you, and would pervert the gospel of Christ. But though we, or an angel from heaven, preach any other gospel unto you than that which we have preached unto you, let him be accursed. Therefore it is no great thing if his ministers also be transformed as the ministers of righteousness; whose end shall be according to their works. If a man abide not in me, he is cast forth as a branch...and cast them into the fire, and they are burned.

  • I admire your willingness to share the gospell, but I do not agree with your motives.. you seem to push the false doctrin of losing salvation. the verses you use to promote you idea has nothing to do with damnation for so-called former christians..

  • If I am a lying heretic it is sin to admire me in any way. If I am telling the truth it is a sin to call me a false teacher, a teacher of false doctrine. You are in "double dutch" as they say. What I have stated regarding Hebrews 6 is very clearly upheld by the scriptures, not just in Hebrews 6, but in Hebrews 10, 12, Matthew 25, and throughout the entire Old and New Testaments. You have been brainwashed, as most professing "christians" have in these last days. You have listened to the hirelings

  • (continued from above) that are holding the positions of pastor, elder, bishop, deacon, professor, etc. They are blind guides leading the blind into their ditch. Their ditch will be the eternal damnation of all who follow them. We must go to God with all our heart to know His TRUTH and be satisfied with nothing less. The Word is not inconsistent, if our doctrine makes it seem so it is our interpretation that is flawed. Heb. 6 is a very clear case of a born again believer being disinherited.

  • (cont.) There are only two ways to discount this. The first is to deny it says what it says. The second is to deny it applies to saints. Dispensationalism (a la Larkin, Scofield, Darby, etc.) is a way to falsely apply holy scripture to someone other than who it is given to. Those who can not understand this Word are blind for a reason. It is their heart. We must not go to human interpretations, but let the Word interpret itself by "the mouth of two and three witnesses." All else is idolatry.

  • I have been growing in the wor d of God for about two years now. Right now my church is under some extreme stree. At first we started out as a church, without a praise and worship team where we studied like the Bereans. We would study about topics like THe Collosus, & Feasts of the Lord and we also completed the Seventy Week Calculation , we also did studies about the five types of sin and the 5 patrs of the underworld,

  • It is far better to "just" stick with the leading of the Holy Spirit than to go to "pre-fab" outlines and Bible study guides sold in "christian bookstores" or sent down the line from "the main office" of some denomination or "franchise operation." It is always better to just go to the Bible in the Spirit. It is possible to spend years going into "everythingbutttt" what God wills for us NOW.

  • Amen. Sad but true. Excersizing is imperitive to being able to 'smell', 'taste' and discern ... Mal 3:18 GBY :-)

  • Amen.
