  • for the non IS you have a preety stabe hand:) , I hawe this lens to but in my hands...is oufull :)))

  • Damnnn my friend the quality is superbb !!

  • what's the aperture value while you are shooting?

just curiousm because when you autofocus, the background became more out of focus while keeping the subject sharp then after the focusing it returns back to normal.. :O

  • are you using Canon EF 70-200mm F4L USM Autofocus Lens ?

  • were you on a tripod?

  • Damn. Full Frame vs Crop really does make a big different on DOF. God damn. I thought this was a 2.8 at first.

  • is this a good overall lens for everyday shooting?

  • @MikeRowledge No, better to get a 24-70

  • Is all focal range? 70 to 200?

  • Yes, the lens will do from 70mm to 200mm.

  • Non IS

  • is this The IS f4L version or the none IS?

  • @punkdpoison

    Non IS

  • Hi friedicecream,

What was that enormous shift in f-stop between 0:19 - 0:21?!

How d'you do it, and what f-stops did you use? Thanks.

  • And i thought vid capability in 5d is useless. Quality looks awesome.

  • @spambryan17 what?! no way... the 5D mark II has an AWESOME quality,

(and i say it as a 7D user)

the whole thing between 7D and 5D mark II in terms of video is the capabilities of the fps you can shoot at, 5D mark II got far less FPS but not less than what is requiered... with my 7D i can shoot at 60fps and then make cool slow mo vids after edit etc, but for regular video, 5D mark II is just the same

  • @beepIL I personally think the 5D offers better quality than the 7D. Due to the full frame sensor.

  • @Purepromedia Heh coming back after two months,

I upgraded to 5D mk II,

i've even made a video comparison, there is a slightly better quality due to full frame sensor!

but the best part is the fact the full frame gives you cleaner images at low light areas, much better than a smaller CMOS...

I now use the 5D mk II..

I figured i just dont need all that 8fps per second, and i don't use it as much, and if i will, 3.9fps will be enough, and all the other features are "wow factor" but i dont use it
