  • I've been searching for this closing awhile now, so I'm glad you uploaded it. Where did you get it--are these cartoons on DVD?

  • They don't make em like this anymore.

  • I wonder if he ever got that thing I sent him?

  • Too bad the original closing of the Peter Potamus Show isn't uploaded.

  • I think it is, because I was looking for this second one for a long time. But if you don't have the original closing, I at least have it on audio--just private message me.

  • Too bad the original closing of the Peter Potamus Show isn't uploaded.

  • GOD! Why don't they make cartoons like this anymore?Everything is so demonic in nature in kids cartoons today.I really feel sorry for them.Back then it was so pure in cartoons where is today it's so violent! And I dont mean cartoon violent.

  • Did you get that thing I sentcha?

  • Yes, this was an alternate "curtain call", just before the closing credits, during that brief period in 1965-'66 when "Ricochet Rabbit" was brought over from "MAGILLA GORILLA" to replace "Breezly & Sneezly" (who went to Magilla's show for a time). Peter [and Magilla] ALWAYS reminded you at the end to watch each other's show! {That, I believe, was Ideal Toys' suggestion.}

  • I like to see Peter Potamus do the Hippo Hurricane Holler :)

  • Wow....I had read online that Peter Potamus had his own show. I remember that whole crew--along with Breezly Bruin and Sneezly--being just supporting cartoons for "Magilla Gorrilla."

  • Reply to takufan4: Later, in the 1970s, Magilla and Potamus were syndicated together. They aired that way on WFLD in Chicago.

  • Thanks.

  • Hi,I used to watch them on WFLD. I said this in a comment in muttley16's post of this. WFLD cut off The "Dancing Sticks" and replaced it with "Keiser Broadcasting"

  • How did you get this? I mean there was no video tape recorders in those days -- no VHS, no nothing.

  • Well 16mm prints aired by television stations back in the day often still exist, before video tape was practical for nationwide distribution, and have come into the possession of collectors.

  • That is magnificent!!! Thank you!!

  • Awesome!!! I saw this in the last time when I was I child. Unfortunnaly the today´s TV channels don´t show anymore those opening credits, ending credits and bridges...

  • nor the dvds either. that would've been great as extras.
