@Fiumita Si, tal como lo cantamos en el Lincoln Center en Nueva York (5 funciones totalmente llenas) en el SIdney Opera House (3 funciones llenas) en el Barbican Teatre de Londres (2 Funciones llenas), en la Casa da Musica en Porto (funcion llena) y en muchos otros lugares donde la gente no se horrorizó, si no que entendió el profundo significado de la obra, ese mismo significado que se le escapa a mentes retrogradas y pacatas.....

@qyzuf Beg you pardon, but this text was NOT written by Osvaldo Golijov, the text are taken of the Bible, Mark's gospel to be exact. So, Mr Golijov did not write a single letter or vowel, just the music, so i don't get what's the antisemitic part of the video, thanks for watching and posting....

I just want to know why - Golijov could have composed many things, why did he choose this text, which obviously makes a point of blaming the Jews

@qyzuf well, if i'm right were the jews who beg Pontius Pilatus for the crucifiction of Jesus who was ALSO a jew. Therefore, this excerpt of the work doesn't say a single word about the jewish people, it talks about the last supper and the toughts of Judas Iscariot and Jesus, and everyone else there as well... so i still don't get your point about the blaming of Jews

This is a simplification of a new testeament that seems to accent the claim that Judas

and the (Jewish) priests were eager to get rid of jesus, and awere to blame of his crucifiction

la mejor versión. La versión holandesa de DGG es muy pulida, muy 'occidental' para el gusto europeo. Felce muestra una muy buena voz para darle VOZ a la versión original latinoamericana. Simplemente, LA VERSIÓN

@FauveAngelique Each version has its own enchant, Hanssler's was recorded live in 2000 at the premiere, the Deutsche's version has a very good video on it.... the choice is yours

@Molybdaenmornell Hi.. well i think that was just a way of interpretation, Golijov certainly wrote the melody, but each peformer (Julio, Pedro Sequera, Said Barrios, Reynaldo Marquez and most recently Manolo Mairena) gave it especial "mojo" to the piece... did it answer your question?? :-)
