i know walleye are in the perch family. but i never fish for them. i am a bass and musky angler, but i want to fish for walleye sometime. how do i know the difference between a walleye, sauger, or a saugeye?
Walleye generally have a white spot on their tails, and clear fins on their spine. Sauger do not have that noticeable white spot on their tail and they're fins on top of their spine are spotted very darkly. saugeye i don't really know.
