I have one as well. I've 4 Marshall amps, 4 vintage Fenders, and 1 lonely PV Classic 50 kind of sitting over in the corner, although you CAN coax some great tones out o fthem if you work on it.
The chorus doesn't sound good with distorted amps... and with headphones I don't know why it sounds like craapp... But its an aweesoommmee amp I like it..
I remember when my parents first gave me this amp, I was like: "C'mon, give me a break, this bullshit??!!" Now, I have this amp since 2009, we're on the 4th June 2011, and men, I've never seen suck powerful amp with that stupid weight, now, I'm on a band and I'm getting the Roland Cube 80xl, because, THEY ROCK!!!
This guy has magic in his fingertips. He plays with his fingers for some chords then all of a sudden a plec appears between his fingers and he starts picking!
Dude! You could sell ANYTHING. I mean you are engaged and engaging... Love the amp; used one with my bass at a party, last summer. Gonna finally settle down and "gift" myself one.
I've owned a black-face deluxe, and I now own a Roland Micro. And I can honestly say, for a hundred buck, close enough. Give it programable switching, and I'd gig with it:. Just put a decent mic in front of it.
WORDS OF WISDOM: A Marshall stack is like a having a 12 inch penis. Every guy wants one, until they have to lug it around, and then find a place where they can actually use it.
@jungkvist Your "words of wisdom" is the stupidest thing I've heard in quite some time, and smacks of sour grapes from a guy who can't afford a Marshall stack and has a tiny tiny clit-like penis.
@jungkvist Youre tripping right :o? This thing is a good practice amp maybe, but it does not have the same warmth or sound of something a tad bigger with tubes...
siempre que veo a este guacho me quedo con la duda de si en realidad toca la guitarra de forma profesional con una banda y todo, o si solamente sabe algunos licks y con eso zafa ... ??
This is a little like one of those annoying commercials: "If you call now you will not only receive this Amp but also 6 Batteries and a pound of Butter, free of charge. So call now." I'm not saying its a bad tour of the amp but... well you know what I mean.
What's weirder is, he speaks like the other dude. If I saw him in line at the Wal mart and heard him talk I'd be reminded of the other rock on good people guy.
@vietcongfistalpha1 the amp has FAR more to do with the final sound than what kind of guitar. you can take the "best sounding guitar in the world" and run it through a horribly amp, it'll still be horrible sounding, but take a beat up first act super cheap guitar, put it through a good amp, and it's going to sound a whole lot better
@sbent518 I couldn't agree more. I only play a strat copy (even cheaper than a Squier), and before I replaced the stock pickups with Seymour Duncan Hot Rails, it still sounded very nice through my Vox VT30. Now it sounds even better with that $150 investment.
@jmaguerra i think they use a## because they dont want to confuse the string...with the b string.... like when ya tuning, you are tuning with the a string and if they put b there..ppl would try tuning the wrong string, i maybe wrong but thats what i reckon lol

jmaguerra 1 year ago
@jmaguerra This is quite a late response, but I'll bother anyway... and I think you mean A double flat (bb), not ##.
Anyways, double flats are more often seen in sheet music for classical guitar. Furthermore, double flats are used to determine note intervals. Let's take C ---> A as the two notes. That's a major sixth interval. If it was Ab (A flat), it would be a minor sixth interval. If it was Abb (A double flat), it would be a diminished 6th interval.
