i dont know about your evo....but dont you have to hold the clutch depressed with the gear in 1st for the stock 2-step? If it's in neutral, it would bounce off the rev-limiter instead. and to answer your question rinkesfluffy, the GSR has it as well.

when he does that at 0:17, thats what they call "Two Stepping" when you put the parking break on, then put the car on neutral, rev until 5K+ then slowly put ur other foot on the clutch, any evo does that...

Because the hangers are rubber to reduce vibration inside the car. All exhausts shake when you rev up.
