It's amazing how fast you can go when you don't care about full head-joints. Good job of these competitions, passing on the TOTAL skill and proper technique.
Its just a competition dude... chill a bit. They do keep them to tolerances, cant remember exactly what, and they say it has to be a 'sellable' wall, but I think realistically many of these wouldnt sell in the real world.
People enjoy watching a how fast competition as opposed to watching a who did it the proper way competition.
Myself, I'd like to see fast field stone laying competition.
