  • They should make a new album with just the two, and maybe three of them. I really liked Cosmos, so I wouldn't mind another vocalist too of course. Just make it good and make it happen.

  • Like the Queen song goes......"THE SHOW MUST GO ON"

Brian May and Roger Taylor are musicians and it's in their blood.

I'm sure Freddie would want Brian May and Roger Taylor to continue playing music.

  • Miss Freddie but come on!! let the rest of the guys have fun!!! and play!! better than sitting at home and fading away!!!!!!!!!!

  • its not a piss take at the X factor by any chance :)

  • I don't think Paul Rodgers gets enough credit, He's a great singer, Freddie isn't going to come back from the dead, that's asking a bit too much, I don't see how you can't just enjoy this.

  • Great song by Great Musicians, PERIOD!

  • A full but trimmed beared like the one Paul Rodgers has here would've suited Freddie better than just the moustache he had.

  • The melody rocks but the lyrics don't fit

    .

  • i like this live version better than the album version, but still this track rocks!

  • lÔl_i_fèél_sÒ_lÕñElý_tÖÐÄÿ

  • i agree, this man is a corpse with a voice, i want freddies campness, his operatic voice and mannerisms, the teeth, the short mic, the moustache, at least Queen are making new music

  • Queen without "Mr Bad Guy", is not Queen at all....

  • Roger and Brian are legends, but in my opinion,Queen died with Freddie Mercury!

  • Give Brian and Roger a break - they love rock and roll. It`s not fair that because their friend died they should go in a hole and stay there. They wanted to play - and Paul Rodgers was really brave to come out and do it.

Freddie could also have sung this in Queen - it`s a great rocking track.

  • @SimonDolan well put man...Paul will never fill Freddy's shoes...and it's not fair to knock them for still going on!

  • Rodgers certainly has a great voice. It's nice that Brian and Roger got to tour and play the music. THe fact that it "wasn't Freddie" was a given from the start.

  • Argh stop saying Queen died with Freddie it's doing my head in.

  • Queen died with Freddie

  • Paul Rodgers is just a stage name for Chuck Norris. For the debut of his album none of the current music acts were enough to match his incredible epicness so he brought one of history's greatest rock bands out of retirement. And so roundhouse kick-assness was given a musical embodiment.

  • Just not the same...

  • the song is ridiculous.... reminds of van halen with gary cherone.... why all the old rockers that try to be modern write the same pseudo-metal songs? l

  • They don't call this Queen, they perform as Queen + Paul Rodgers, so there's no need for hating or crying. Let them keep on doing what they want and always did.

Anyway, I don't like this at all, thinking it's quite redundant, just a mix of old songs from both artist without any fresh ideas. I remain the right to listen to old queen songs and new interesting artists ;-)

  • close your eyes it sounds like Bad Company. he should have stuck with that band and not got with Queen. Queen well never been the same with out Freddie and no one will hold a candle to him.

  • @ParamedicsGirl that's why they call it QUEEN & PAUL RODGERS

  • The Metal by Tenacious D?!? :O

  • @MetallicaFran But better. :) (Don't get me wrong, I'm a Tenacious D fan too, but Queen rocks all)

  • @MetallicaFran DAMMIT, you took it already

  • I'm rather impressed with this!

  • im 21 and im inlove with paul rodgers!

  • what rubbish

  • is it in playback???

  • @scricciolotopo NOOOOOOOOOOO

  • @EmEs78 it's playback, who does the voices in the chorus except taylor? and the harmonies a the end of brian solo?

  • I actually like this song :s

  • Love watching these old timers. Still good old rock music. They are legends that will never be forgotten.

  • Love Roger´s look... I don´t know, I´m 21 years old, and I´m so in love with Mr. Taylor. It seems that with the years he looks better and better!!!

  • @ak123un no he didn't necessarily quit he just retired from the spotlight, he lives in country with his wife... i saw an interview with Brian may and he say that john just wants the quiet life and they respect that... great band - the music lives on

  • me gusta paul rodgers es un escelente vocal aunque fredi mercury para queen era mejor paul rodgers lo era para bad company

  • The singer looks like Chuck Norris! Haha!!

  • when i saw the icon of this video i thought that it was Chuck Norris!and i was like WTF,Chuck Norris singing...oh it's Paul Rogers :D

  • ...da packt selbst der Brian seine alte "Queen" Gitarre aus!!! wie respektlos!!! Freddie R.I.P. !

  • Ganz ehrlich??? Find ich scheisse! Freddie würde sich im Grab rumdrehen, wenn er Diesen 2klassigen Sänger mit seiner alten Band sehen würde!Es kotzt mich an,es herrscht der kommerz!!!!!!!!!

  • I'd rather Brian and Roger playing live with a screen in the back showing videos of freddie intead of this, and please jonh! Come back!!.

  • @Maarttiin did john deacon quit Queen?

  • @ak123un yeer john said he didnt want to do it because it wouldnt be the same without freddie i think i guess he was down when he died

  • I want Freddie Mercury back!!! RIP...

  • This is not queen maybe queen two or queen revival

  • anonimous track

  • its chuck norris!

  • id like to meet this guy and pull him into a parking lot and beat his frigging face in..this is the worst pathetic crap ive seen in a while. what a disrespect to freddie. im ashamed of the group.

  • Comment removed

  • this sucks. please dont try to replace freddie with a washed out stained crappy singer

  • Alternate version of Cosmos Rockin': youtube.com/watch?v=38erYSZcc70

    Click and check!

  • its better than the chart shit today.

  • to be honest, after freddie died, queen should have just stopped before embarrassing themselves and pissing all over the legacy of some fucking incredible past music with shit like this.

  • yeah \m/

  • Brian May is very impressive in his guitar playing, and he make it himself. But this song is a little limp for my liking. I feel they are trying to Rock like Giants with a song meant for K3.

  • BRIAN MAY = LEGEND!!!!!!!!!!! XXXXXXXX

  • OOOO its chuck norris on the Queen !!!!

    COOOLLLL!!!!!!!!!

  • BADASS!!!!!

  • Queen should have left it, Freddie can't be replaced and compared to the stuff he wrote this is total s***

  • @12345678910925 This is keeping Freddie alive.....it's in no was taking away from him or Queen...Freddie will live forever, we know that don't we...

  • Paul=shame

  • terrible snare sound

  • @neonjunglejumper Terrible snare? More like terrible song.

  • I love the message of the song. And it's rock gimmick. But this is not Queen-ish at all.

  • THE BEST MALE VOCAL IN ROCK (SINCE FREDDIE CANT PREFORM LIVE) TODAY!

  • Why does the main guitar riff sound A LOT like Tenacious D's "The Metal"? o_O Whatever. Good song.

  • I'm a big fan of Queen but I must say this is not the Queen of the 70's or 80's, not even close. This is a joke to their earlier legacy.

  • Awful song. Queen died when Freddie died.

  • great song, sounds like queen!

  • @drndosdrn well queen are a far bigger band overall yes, but not in terms of new single sales, obviously. it's not inspiration, it's copying.

  • Is it just me or does the guitar riff sound a lot like Dragon Attack (another Queen song)? It sounds similar at least.

  • lovely wig paul

  • I miss Freddy, but this rocks...with Paul, they should change their name to King!

  • shockingly blatant copy of the metal by tenacious d

  • @mattywicks

Yeah, because a guitarist on the level of Brian May would REALLY copy a guitar riff of someone as mediocre as Jack Black. Chords have been almost used to exhaustion, a riff is gonna sound like another sooner or later.

  • @TheDarkFrontier First off JB does the vocals and backing guitar and Kyle Gass, the lead guitarist is classicaly trained and the song does sound like a copy of "The Metal"

  • @TheMidnighters34

Judging from your previous comment that you think a comedy band is the best band of all time, I'm not that inclined to take you seriously. And so what? Matt Bellamy is classically trained, but that doesn't make Muse the best band ever. And no, it doesnt sound like a "copy" of The Metal, copy implies direct carbon copy, which it is not. Don't forget there are only 12 possible notes to use, somethings are bound to sound similar now and again.

  • @TheDarkFrontier Haha I was just saying that KG is the guitarist cuz you said Jack Black was. And as far as the best band of all time thing, that's how they are introduced when they play (obviously as a joke). But it still does sound like "The Metal", some things do sound similar and people can get mad, Queen knows all about that when Vanilla Ice said Ice Ice Baby didn't steal from Under Pressure when it clearly did.

  • @mattywicks Hahahahahahha Queen is 1000000 times bigger band than tenacious d, and if even legends like Queen is, used their song as inspiration they should be very pleased, becasuse they did something good!

  • @drndosdrn

    only a question

Who the hell is Tenacious D when we talk about the bigger band ever?

  • @ViniciusFiocco In case you haven't heard, Tenacious D is the best band of all time, and the opening riff from this song sounds the same as the riff in their song "The Metal"

  • There are people in life that are irreplaceable and Freddie Mercury is one example of these people! Just as we are for our children.

  • he might not be freddy but he brought his own style to it. you should of heard em in concert, wow even my dad was impressed and he's a total queen fan

  • Queen need Paul Rodgers.! Rodgers doesn,t want Queen. FACT

  • very nice song.....but not Queen style.....

  • Sounds more like a Paul Rodgers song than a Queen song, no hook, no melody, boring riff, no emotion (other than a tuneful growl, but that isn't an emotion) typical Paul Rodgers song. Sure Queen ain't Queen w/o Freddie, but it also isn't Queen without John Deacon. Wish they'd picked a different name, there's an audience for this music definitely, i just don't think it's the same one queen appealed to.

  • and this song doeasnt sound like queen at all

  • This is great! Queen + Paul Rodgers are amazing! Rock on!

  • I don't know. The song sounds good and everything, but it's just not Queen...

  • I Agree, Mercury to me was about 1/3 of the band. Brian May being another 1/3. And the Bassist and Drummer being another 1/3. (I don't find them as talented) Losing either May or Mercury wouldn't make Queen the same.

  • Dude, I think Roger Taylor is a fantastic drummer, and John Deacon may have been quite, but he was an amazing bassist! xP

  • @General1lol freddie was 9/10 of the band whole world knew who is freddie mercury he was one of the most popular people of the 80' and no one knew who is roger taylor or john deacon and few people knew who is brian may ....

  • @omega4104 well the part "i want to be" in chorus sounds a lil queen-ish IMO

  • @omega4104 well the part "i want to be....." in chorus sounds a lil queen-ish IMO

  • @omega4104 Yes, it's Queen + Paul Rodgers, a new fuckin' rockin' awesome band!

  • y freddy?? jaa los inlgeses se cagan en todo..son decadentes

  • *****

  • Great track.

  • Great concert Qeen !

  • This ain't a concert ^^

  • new album is very good, with a few really great moments. could anyone expect more??

  • how about some mercury?

  • Fantastic....Queen can still knock out the tunes....It might not be Freddie but theyre still just as good as they used to be....best band and good song

  • did anyone else notice that paul rodgers looks a lot like chuck norris?

  • @randytaves i did :D

  • @randytaves

    BLASPHEMY!!!

  • @randytaves Me too!

  • @randytaves He looks more like Justin Bieber with a beard ha ha.

  • @randytaves , everybody.

In fact, when they came to Chile in 2008, many people in the hotel believed he was Norris XD

  • @randytaves Lol....When I clicked the link I thought it was him...thats why I click it...Kinda thought it strange that Chuck Norris was singing with Queen.

  • @randytaves fuck yeah hahaha chuck norris and queen together at last

  • @randytaves yes , a lot

  • @randytaves

even Chuck Norris couldn't reach Freddie :-P

  • @MrBadguy2008 lol

  • lol the riff reminds me of tenacious d

  • I dont really like Queen's new material but that Riff is mind-numbingly esquisite :-P

  • y este es el nuevo mercuri¿?¿¿?¿pallasadas

  • Sory mr.paul but I like Freddie . Your good but will never replace dear Fred I love this song though , say hi to bri and rog:-)

  • i agree arther5041975

  • this is Queen! is Queen+Paul Rodgers! I miss Freddie Mercury and John Deacon, but Queen + PaulRodgers is like the Queen return but now with another singer, but I still prefer the original Queen! Queen Rocks! Queen+Paul Rodgers is great!

  • i don't care what anybody says paul rodgers is great with queen

  • wowowo this song!!!!!

Nina Simone - Ain't Got No...I've Got Life

  • These guys are like 60 or so and they rock a millions times better than the young bands.

  • i think youre missing the point of the song......i think its a bit of a "wind up", and personally i find it excellent:-)

  • hahah i agree

  • I believe the concept and lyrics are pretty bad and it just seems that they didn't have anything better to write about. Typical reunion album problem, I've noticed. That being said, the performance and music are pretty good. The harmonies are spot on, Mays' guitar is as sharp as ever and Roger is still awesome. I have mixed feelings. Maybe they just need an outside lyricist.

  • if paul rodgers can sing a shopping list and make it sound good hes good enough for queen queen rule always will they will always be queen and paul well imagine freddie and paul together and you woulve got queen super gt

  • @splintergroup2002 Uh, why? Brian and Roger are a part of Queen, why should they drop the band they founded?

  • Anyone who thinks Paul Rodgers is trying to fill Mercury's shoes is being foolish. They are distinctly different and to try and compare them is just as foolish. Paul Rodgers is one of the few truly iconic singers in rock music. Just like Mercury, his voice is truly unmistakeable and unique. To discount him for singing with Queen is to dismiss his amazing singing abilities. From Free to Bad Company and The Firm, Rodgers is amazing. Don't hate it, just appreciate it for what it is: a great song.

  • Paul had some huge fuckin shoes to fill and i think he did a good job, hes no freddy but its good to see queen up and moving again.

  • »QUEEN FOREVER!!!!!!!!!!!

  • Wow - I'm sure Paul Rodgers would care a great deal about that.

  • ...some like me who have better judgement in music... You pig-ear!!! Hahahaha

  • To matty: millions of people listen to MTV rather than Queen, when have the masses ever been right?

  • prefiro muito mais o fredy !

  • freddie è unico

  • Haaa! PERFECTION!

  • This reminds me of Van Halen with Sammy Hagar.

  • The sound is like Queen Company!

  • queen will be lucky to get a singer as good as Paul Rodgers again, As well as Brian and Roger he made the 2 tours and album what it was, the only thing they could have done was record again, leave it what it was a great collabaration

  • EP1C FAIL.

  • i actually dislike paul rodgers hes no freddie mecury at all

  • no, he's no freddie but then no one could ever replace freddie. Personally, I don't really think Queen can exist without him. The queen sound just isn't complete without his voice.

  • Best thing about Mr. Rodgers and Queen is he does not at anytime try to sound like Mercury. Its Rodgers pulling off the queens songs... It works....everything about it is respect... Thanks May for letting this happen.

  • mrface, thanks for that mate! Was looking at Rodgers in this and knew he looked like sum1 but couldnt pinpoint him. Chuck is that man!

  • track rocks!!!!!ubelievable!!!!

  • Paul Rogers his the man! Very fine vocal

  • Catchy tune, are they trying to be topical?

  • look paul rodgers is good but this song isnt queen... it makes me sick and i dont really think im the only one with this Thought.

  • NO its not queen, its not supposed to be!!! besides this song was never sung by freddie, why cant you just enjoy the new sound, paul is a brilliant singer, so it sounds different....why is that a bad thing??

  • I understand that. And Sure it is not the queen from the old days. Its just the point where this song is still under the name of queen. Its just so metal like wich i Never was going to expect from them..

  • Though Queen+Paul Rogers is no where near how good Queen (with Freddie) was back in the day, I am really glad they decided to pick a very able singer like Paul Rogers. Better than I thought they might sound.

  • The main riff is stolen from Judas Priest's A touch of evil song...

  • not queen... because of the singer! the voice of freddie was another...

  • These guys were amazingly talented with or without Freddie Mercury, so whether the lead singer is Paul Rodgers or Freddie Mercury, who gives a flying f*** at a rolling doughnut. Rock on!

  • Queen + Chuck Norris!!!

  • Paul Deacon ?

  • omg is chuck norris

  • In some ways Paul Rodgers is a good thing as a Freddie Mercury exact sing and act alike would be just a Queen tribute band. Queen are lucky to be able to reinvent themselves with new ideas, but we will never forget Freddie and that is why I cannot like the new Queen lineup. I would have prefered a tribute act with a frontman like Gary Cherone who performed at the tribute concert, the old songs with a great performance lead.
  • so you liked the fact that axel roads(?) from guns n roses sang freddies part in some of his songs at his funeral?

  • Axl Rose, dumbass !

  • just to mention freddy was the best i agree with anyone whos say that but at least paul rodgers is not trying to fill freddy's shoes and im glad he made it his own coz there will only be one freddy the song was kick ass but i think the album would have done better under another name queen was freddy bryan rodger and john. so i think they should have chainged the name why not go by smile again. so lets cut paul rodgers some slack he is a great singer.

  • hueco el que crea que este cerote es mejor que freddie

  • paul rodgers is not like freddie mercurie.

  • Turns out Brian May defiled the metal...

  • ripp off lol
