those kids were gorgeous - the girl she kissed, the boy at the net and the black boy screaming out her name - major cuteness!! she seems to like kids a lot
I used to dislike her, but I changed my view of her in 2008. She did become more attractive and more approachable. Her interpretation of tennis is exceptional and truly stands out from the rest of tour. When she was at her best (e.g. 2007 US Open and French Open), she was absolutely invincible. I wish that she comes back to compete!!
@worldted not only...what about those marvelous volleys? that noone else manages to produce this days...Mauresmo is not an exception...she's good volley player too, have good reaction and movement feeling, but she just lacks those exclusive volleying elegance moves that Henin possesses...
@Summon256 srry mauresmo wat the more natural volley-er of the two the wimb final proves plus mauresmo came in on first and second serves it henin dominated the rivalry cos she was bettter from da basline
hi everyone, I want to know what the song is as well. This clip gives me fresh and positive feeling. I regret that Justine retired so early. Hope she's going to comeback soon!
its still hard to believe that she retired. Justine was a real fighter and gave %110 each time. She had probably the best all around game that womens tennis has had in a while. I don't think womens tennis will ever have someone like her again. The WTA is not gonna be the same now that Ju has retired Justine will always and forever be number 1 in my mind!
I could not agree more, hescobal. Justine was a class act and great champion. The nine years I watched her are some of the most enjoyable I've ever had following the WTA tour. When I noticed Justine in 1999, the men's tour no longer held any interest to me.
@antworks1234 yes, i believe and especially it became boring after Steffi Graf's and Pete Sampras retirement...i stopped watching men's tennis when Sampras left tennis, 2002 late i believe...
@antworks1234 ...by the way guess who's back ? LOL ...well at least now we got to see some REAl tennis, not some ball mashing machines that hits the ball further and back...we finally get to see diversity of volley, baseline, half court play, in combination of all around abilities to slice, top spin, flat, drop and lob shots...good swing power and timing, angualr momentum, thift and technics, style and difference, precision and reaction, speed and reflexes...and many more...
@antworks1234 ...also add to that stability and psychological endurance, unbreakable spirit and a will to win by all means and you've got what Henin is...LOL maybe those adjectives are not even enough to describe her advantages compared to other players, but lets just say time reveal who's who...
Justine, you are the best player of tennis we ever had, and you always will be. Thank you for all those great moments, you have given us. You will always be in our hearts. We are proud to be a Belgian, thanks to you.
But those people don't realise what she has accomplished, and I'm proud that I can say that Justine is a Belgian. Because we are such a little country with 10 million inhabitants, and to have such a player like her and Kim Clijsters off course too. We should be so happy with those girls, but some people are so stupid and jealous of those girls, that they forget how extraordinary they were.
love from argentina justine!! you are the best and you will always be , thank you foe the amazong matches and that smile you alwyas had. good bye and thank you!!! =D
I'm Really Sad Justine Is Retiring Just Before The French Open. But I Think She'll Come Back To The Tour And Be As Happy As She Used To Be. I Hope She does And Wins A 5th French Open.
oh Petit, we will miss you...I'm crying because you're leaving tennis pro :'(...I hope you can realize all the dreams you have outsite the courts...we will always love you....
wtf is mauresmo being brought into this video? Both are great players.

She retired while she is still world number 1. I think she made a good decision. She will remain a Legend.

proud to be belgian? she mostly quit because there are too many jerks and jealous people who tried to destroy her in belgium
LOLONO666 3 years ago
really? that would totally suck...she's financed a tennis center there and a youth tennis program...why would Belgians be against her success then?

if u reaad the comments on the belgian forums you would be surprised about all these jealous people who are happy she leaves
