season 9 was the season that the ratings were going down so it was cancelled but they did not want to end the series like this!

@1mnmfan True. So NBC decided on making a series of LHOP "made for t.v." movies ,for what some LHOP fans call season 10.

@AtmaGyan yes he was watch the episode "the wild boy" matthew was being "used" and treated horribly in a show run by some jerk (can't remember the name) matthew ended up escaping and eventually came into Mr edwards care.

There is not an offical season 10 to LHOTP. Season 9, called "A New Beginning" was the last and final complete season to the show. However, Imavision plans on releasing the final three movies in a set that they are referring to as Season 10. Supposedly, the last I heard, this set is due out this fall (2006).
