Some of those attacks??!! LOL. Try most of them, most attacks in Sydney almost exclusively occurred in Western Sydney where there is a large Lebanese population, the pattern is similar in Melbourne. Brisbane and Adelaide, which are less diverse did not see the same pattern of violence that is seen in Sydney and Melbourne.

I don't think it's realistic though to get EVERYONE to carry a weapon or train themselves so they can win any fight. Wow. I'm an American and was just visiting Australia, but I kept seeing this attitude over there. America has problems, but Australia is about 40 or 50 years behind America in terms of progress away from racism. I had never thought about Australia in terms of racism, crimes against Aboriginals, white only immigration policy, and racist attitudes that exist today. But after going there twice now, it's really made quite an impression. It's shocking how recent Australia's little progress has been.
