@Gapfruit there is a plan, but our actions can change his plans for us. We have a choice in following God. I believe that if you really want to follow God and accept Jesus as your savior, then he will guide you everyday of your life. This also doesn't mean there won't be any pain or suffering. If you belong to Jesus, he will be with you forever. Even though we all sin, our sins are forgiven if we ask Him to forgive them. We just have to believe in him that he will lead us through our hardships.

I'm very sad that you don't have a chance to know God & his love for us that he gave his one and only son to die for us on the cross. @Gapfruit there is a plan, but our actions can change his plans for us. We have a choice in following God. I believe that if you really want to follow God and accept Jesus as your savior, then he will guide you everyday of your life. This also doesn't mean there won't be any pain or suffering. If you belong to Jesus, he will be with you forever. Even though we all sin, our sins are forgiven if we ask Him to forgive them. We just have to believe in him that he will lead us through our hardships.

I followed what the bible said, with everything, my life, my heart, everything i could do, to the point where i couldn't get further and only god could help me. but he didn't. it got worse and worse, up to the point where i had to say, i can't take it anymore. i hadn't bad concious because i knew it was meant to be over. "For it is God which worketh in you both to will and to do of his good pleasure." (phil. 2, 13) ;)

@Gapfruit I would ask God y does this have to happen to me? Man knows nothing of God's plan bcuz his mind is too complicated. We cant understand why he led us down the path he has chosen for us, but I know he tests us. Once you give up on God, Satan can come into your heart & mind and blind you of what is right in front of you. Even though you turn away from God, he will never turn away from you. Turn to God once more, this time have faith in him even if you feel there is no one there with you.

@zanetalinx3 i turned to god so many times, knowing i can't help myself and trusting in him every time, everytime a bit more. 11 month long. and then there was this situation i couldn't stand it anymore. know that quote from the bible that says that we won't get put on a cross we can't stand the weight of? i couldn't stand it. it was just impossible, and just know that there were really many people who talked to me like you, like "trust him, the solution will come", but no help.. that's my story

It is obvious that the existence of the actual person portrayed in the Bible is not true history. Paul's promotion of Yeshua to divine status is the basis of the string of events that gradually conspired to create a mountain from a mole hill. Paul never met Yeshua yet Christianity is based on Paul's assumption about the person he called Jesus.

Yeshua could have had delusions of grandeur - even if he did say "I am the way, the light", then he would merely be reflecting the same statement of many other messiah's and prophets of that period. Yeshua preached pretty much the same message as many other Jewish rabbis. John the Baptist taught most of the things that Jesus' "revolutionary" teachings contained.

Most Christian faiths believe in both the OT and NT and many believe that the New Testament overrides the Old in the places where they contradict each other. Generally the two parts are rather mismatched and the behaviour of the God of the OT is completely different than in the NT. They should have never been put together in the first place.

The modern Bible preacher selectively chooses which in the Old Testament he thinks is valid and which is not. He is unlikely to quote the things which are ridiculous - and if you point them out he will state that it is irrelevant because we are no longer under Old Testament law.

But if by God one means the set of physical laws that govern the universe, then clearly there is such a God. This God is emotionally unsatisfying... it does not make much sense to pray to the law of gravity.
