Well to begin with the story with France and Great brittan is history (and France has never been a mach in modern history for Germany) But yes you are still right that US army is stronger... but the problem for US right now is the same as Germany had back in WW2 they cant afford such a war (Germany could if we now forget diplomatic trubbels for both parts that is...) The only way for US to have a "war" with Germany today would be with Atomic bombs and i doubt they would do that.

I honestly believe that the anime series was better than the OVA in terms of drawing and design style despite the series being "fake" relatively to the manga, i like the OVA's but it would kick ass if they were made with the same drawing and design style of the series which is featured in this video.

A very good example of the diference can be seen in some close up character eye shots in which the detail and quality can be actually seen, and comparing with each other, the ova style look's crappy almost "amateurish", but that's me that likes details, again i think it's a matter of tastes.
