  • can you put it into muffin forms and make muffins from it instead of brownies? they look super good

  • Holy crap man, thanks! Will use as staple in my diet and will also sub :)

  • you would have so many more viewers if you used metric system (like grams, liters..) aswell... it's used aaaall over the world -.- i'm so tired of converting american recipes

  • u can use oat meal too. THE TRICK IS TO ADD A LOT OF APPLESAUCE AND DONT OVERCOOK. Applesauce keeps em moist. Put about 1 cup of applesauce. Trust me. I tried this recipie about 20 times till I got it right.

  • i decided to lower the baking time, grind oats for the flour, i took out hte protein powder but if u wana leave it in add some yogurt to keep it moist! This will improve on his recipe!

  • Honestly i think these taste really gross :( so dissapointed. Also i tired it once to make sure.

  • Mine were dry af ):

  • these came out like a brick

  • my husband, showed me your site. Can I say, Thank you! He is a professional body builder and every time, we go out to eat, he doesn't order any dessert at all. Today, I will be making this for Thanksgiving and he doesn't have to be left out. Again, thank you for your recipes. This really as help me to help him with his work out routines. :) Thumbs up! Happy Thanksgiving!

  • Please give the video a like if you don't mind! I can't tell you all how much I appreciate it.

  • Made it, ate it. Good taste but the consistence was not that good. But i rather eat this than regular brownies. Overall the best protein brownies I have tasted.

    8/10

Looking forward to try out your other recipies.

  • How much is one cup? 2dl?

  • Personally I think the real thing which could help me is to type all your measurements using grams, ml and so on. 1 cup is not so good, especially while all those cups are different and measurements in cooking baking and that stuff is necessary to be correct. Thanks for everything you do anyway ;)

  • @WNUKOWSKy A cup is a unit of measurement, not a physical random drinking cup. Pick up a measuring cup :)

  • I'm glad to see the nutritional values of these. Most videos don't and they don't even match the picture.

  • Can I use honey if i don't have stevia?

  • I put some all natural peanut butter in mine:)

  • I haven't tried this yet but I have tried a recipe where you use a scoop of protein powder and two eggs and put it in a coffee cup and microwave for a minute. that tasted like doody I hope this taste better

  • Michael, my good man. I tried your recipe the other night. But I ran into some disappointment. What I ended up with didn't really have the consistency or taste of brownie at all, it was more like a drier chocolate... bread. Is this what I should have expected or can you suggest anything for messing with the recipe to get a bit closer?

  • @HotPocketEXE same here but I still like it nevertheless. I think the batter tastes better than the baked good. lol. but it is after all a lean treat.

  • Does it matter if it's original, unsweetened, or vanilla almond milk?

  • Hey, would it be okay to switch the whey protein to Casein? I would like to eat one right before bed to trick myself into thinking im getting a treat. Plus I hate the texture of casein shakes..

  • Thumbs up from me. Well done video as usual.

  • You sound like Ben Foster. Cool vid btw

  • I have to say personally I do not like this recipe, I tried it and it turned out to be really dry. I think it's b/c of the protein powder.

  • Hey mike I'm using dymatize elite whey protein. Will this make the brownie dry?

  • this recipe is totally protein dependant, if your protein tastes good, the brownies will, but if not they wont, mine however where delicious, thanks for the recipes :) and as for the guy on the real muscle building recipe things, I know for a fact I crave desert like foods, I never crave pizza ect so the desert thing is a good idea imo. chicken breast and brown rice is rice anyway haha

  • You can be a Chef...The Body Building Chef!!!

  • i made this and it literally didn't taste a thing like chocolate :( I love your videos though and I know YOURS tasted really good so I think next time you should specify exactly how much protein powder because your scoops are bigger, I went online and yours were 1/3 bigger than mine each but still my recipe came out bad. I used truvia as well, and feel like it overpowered the entire thing.

  • my god these are so damn good i feel bad eating them

  • doesent heat destroy whey protein?

  • Michael, these are freaking deliscious!

Definitely a must have in my diet from now on.

  • i tried this recipe--seemed lacking in moisture, very dense too--but all other recipes have been awesome

  • @musclethom1

That is either a problem with your preperation or you cooked it too long.

Try again, you won't get it perfect first time, I didn't (I needed to cook mine a little less than in the video).

  • good job bro

  • Love the recipes here, but a little observation--the baking soda actually needs some type of acid to create the desired effect and I don't beileve you have any--the baking powder would be MORE effective due to the fact it acts as a double leavener, basically 2 acids & one activates when it gets wet & one activates from the heat, so might I suggest that you emphasize using the baking powder, otherwise I think the product may be a little flat--I will try it and let you know--keep up the good work!

  • Could you please make a recepie that is a real meal so that im not starving afterwards?

  • I like the fact that you make a lot of desserts..that seems to be my downfall Im always craving sweet things..and thanks to this i can still enjoy them :)

  • @leanbodylifestyle I have seen that you use Elite 30 protein powder. I have been trying to find a good protein powder that tastes good but am worried that most of the flavoured ones may use artificial sweeteners that could be harmful. Any thoughts on this?

  • Hey mike, could you make a video on high protein snacks we can take to school and eat during class? please schools starting soon! thanks!

  • where do you get your stevia from?

  • Nice! I was going to make regular brownies this weekend, but I'll make these instead. I will be using hemp protein rather than whey.

  • cocoa tastes like tree bark...

  • Comment removed

  • I always say I'm going to try this.

But Im definitely making this. No exuses!

  • This guy is going to be famous , give him some time

  • if i don't have stevia....then waht??help plzz

  • @csegul1 buy some!

  • Sorry but it has to said that wholewheat flour is NOT just "rolled oats ground up". Wheat and oats are totally different things. Wholewheat flour is actually made from wheat.....Ground rolled oats makes oat flour.

  • Hey Michael, just wondering why you say it's okay to use Splenda? Isn't it an artificial sweeterner?

  • Why don't you include the yolks of the eggs? Just a question for a newb. :)

  • @Hotnog123 cause of the fat i think..

  • @Hotnog123

yeah its the fat content and the cholestorol but theres alot of theories as to whether you should or shouldnt include yolks ;)

  • if people think these are to dry still, then try to ad honey? is it called honey? i hope it is anyways that is really going to give it a sweet more like fluid taste when they are done, and for some healthy fats some peanutbutter wouldn't be bad either ;) but anyways thanks Michael for this awesome recipe and as always u got my thumps up before the beginning of the clip ;)

  • Great recipe! I love how you use unsweetened almond milk and egg whites. I eat both of those things for breakfast almost every day.

  • It's too HOT to use the oven :(

  • i tried these....and they were dry and hard lol ...probably did something wrong

  • CHICKEN POT PIE ??? I CHALLENGE YOU MICHAEL!!!!!!!

  • I really love this this receipt will defenetly try this at home.. Loveeee all your receipts keep up the great work... your awesome..

  • i want to try this ASAP!

  • As soon as I watched this, I grounded up some oatmeal to try it out and it was wonderful. I'll be using this as a flour substitute more often. Thanks for the great idea!

  • made it, and I loved it!!! :D

  • Made it, loved it!

Instead of wheat meal I used oat meal and grinded it in a mixer with the egg whites and just kept on pouring ingredients in it.

After it I filled up a container and baked it! :) LOVE

  • your recipes are lifesavers, but I have a problem with the echo in the kitchen in your audio. would it be possible to record voice-overs instead? I understand that would be more time consuming, but it would be more comfortable to listen to. for example, chef John's "foodwishes" on youtube- maybe you can check that out and see how you like it. thanks!

  • I miss the speedup transition effect.

  • how about you make a recipe for icing? protein icing!??!

  • Did you go to chef school?

  • would 1 cup of oats be a substitute to 1 cup of whole wheat flour?

  • what camera do you use?

  • Great job michael! Hope to see some workouts soon.

  • 0:20 Thats what she said!!!.. BTW keep up the good work!!!

  • Nice work michael keep it up!

  • Omg i just learnt how to separate the egg white from the yolk from this vid. THANKS MICHAEL!!!!!!!!!

  • thank you so much bin waiting ages for an Healthy Chocolate Fudge Protein Brownies please make flapjacks next that would be great

  • Good job.

  • @mistyflip78 for what? Stating my opinion?..and apparently the opinion of others here. Keep your hand out the cookie jar fatty, enough said. Judging by your channel, your first step to getting lean would be to put down the game controller. See, there is exercise involved.

  • @jshrckstar haha that comment made me laugh so hard. I also agree with your statement

  • you make a lot of chocolate stuff ;D

  • @crladd Exactly! When food is looked at as a luxury, or something we're due, we overindulge. Adding sweeteners, extra fats etc., all to benefit our taste buds and eliminate our cravings (AKA wants, desires) Food is meant as fuel. If someone was dying in the wilderness, your body could care less what something tastes like, it wants whatever fuel source it can find, all in order to survive.

  • I'm just gonna go out on a limb here, and say that most humans do enjoy meats, vegetables and the like. A protein shake is enough of a dessert. 90% of your videos are dessert oriented. I don't know about everyone else, but I'd like to see some "real" muscle building/ lean meals.

  • @jshrckstar I agree. Personally I don't understand why everything we eat has to be so sweet and taste awesome. In my opinion we are just a little bit too spoiled.

  • @jshrckstar FUCK YOU

  • @jshrckstar its because anyone can find those type of meals online, he gives out information which wouldnt be as easily found.

  • @Vidav030 I understand that he's trying to bring out some creative recipes, which I give props to him for that. However, there's probably a reason you don't find these types of recipes plastered on the internet. Simply because people don't typically want dessert foods, especially when trying to get lean. When you type in how to get lean, you find the foods you need, because that's what works. Protein shakes haven't advanced to the point of tasting like every dessert imaginable for no reason.

  • @jshrckstar its not really hard to prepare a lean meal at all, i think thats why he's not covering it. i mean just eat things like chicken breast, pork tenderloins, 95% lean beef and ull be fine. i think the main reason he is giving us dessert recipes is because these are the things that people tend to crave when cutting

  • @darnit666 - Exactly. I feel like if I post a meal video, I'll get comments complaining that the video was way too simple, but if that's what people want to see, I will post some.

  • @leanbodylifestyle haha yea guess people want more variety. im a real busy dental student so i just eat the samething everyday with the occasional refeed lol but each to his own I guess.

I do have a question though Mike. did u get your BF% measured via caliper, BIA, or more expensive alternatives like DEXA? I have 2 BIA readers and they give me pretty different results lol

  • @jshrckstar The truth is, old standards like broiled chicken breast or broiled flank steak and a side of steamed veggies and brown rice or wild rice or baked potatoe or yam is effective for a body-building diet. But broiled meats and steamed veggies and rice gets old quickly. When I was a teen, I ate tuna canned in water straight from the can. I can't stomach that dry tasteless option anymore. Michael does a good job of keeping people informed, and motivated to eat healthy with variety.

  • @jshrckstar - I try my best to make everyone happy. I have a very large audience and it is very difficult posting a video that satisfies everyone.

Next video I post will be a meal and I promise I will get comments like, "Wow, that video sucked" and then have a handful of people complaining that it isn't a dessert video, but I always post what is requested so I'll make the meal video tonight and if that goes over well, I will make more of them.

  • @leanbodylifestyle The people complaining it's not a dessert video doesn't deserve to be lean.

  • @jshrckstar I understand you completly but i also understand Michael i mean come on? don't u know how to make your own vegetables and cock your own meat? i mean his videos aren't gonna show u how to make "real" food as much as this since when it is real food you properbly already know what is good for you so there isn't that much experimenting in that area that hasn't already been done.

  • @jshrckstar you dont need much tutorials for that , the hard thing is finding substitutes to sweet food id say , just my opinion

  • @jshrckstar You just said it, meat "chicken, turkey" and some vegetables... not much need for a video.

  • @jshrckstar these are for people that are trying to lose weight, and instead of eating candy or real unhealthy brownies , they can do this :)

  • @jshrckstar

I disagree; its much easier to cook a healthy full-sized meal than to make a tasty low-calorie dessert (just use lean meats, mixed vegetables and add different spices --> nothing to it). Substituting things like sugar, butter and white flour with low-calorie alternatives and still make a delicious treat is way harder; which is why I'd like to thank mike to educating me in this regard. Keep up the good work man!!!

  • @jshrckstar My personal take on Mike's philosophy is that he does these recipes because he wants people to eat healthy alternatives and that tasty recipes will create diets that people can stick too. A real "muscle" building mean is just a lean piece of meat and a veggie. Nothing special and no real instructions haha

  • What do you do with the yolk, do you bake it into to anything else? (jw)

  • Bob also makes my ground flax.

  • moist my ass, that thing is dry as hell!

  • thanks man this is fucking great...however i'm going to try using another type of milk since well i'm allergic to nuts & such. this rocks man..thanks big time..now all i need is my ice cream maker ;)

  • Low sugar low fat protein ice cream next please.

  • Michael, PLEASE stop using artificial sweeteners!

I do not want that crap in my body, it hasn't been around long enough for us to know if there are long term effects so I don't want to risk it.

  • @AtoZyzzyva there is nothing artificial about stevia

anyway, i just made these, they taste great michael!

  • @AtoZyzzyva stevia is actually an all natural sweetener

  • @AtoZyzzyva if u dont like artificial sweeteners, dont use them...its that simple....

  • @franksters08

But a lot of the recipes can become bitter or not tasty without it, rendering the recipe near useless, which I don't want.

  • @AtoZyzzyva - Stevia is a natural sweetener.

  • @leanbodylifestyle

I know but it hasn't been around long enough to know what it might do, there is so much uncertainty around it.

It isn't digested properly by the body and no good can come out of frequent use of it.

  • I'm trying this tonight

  • liked this video!

  • nice!!!

  • what gas Mark is it ?

  • make videos about real meals please

  • best video in awhile. props

  • Fucking love you!

  • I always see baking powder in recipes, what does it do exactly? add texture or something?

  • This recipe makes 4 large brownies. Each brownie has:

    185 calories

    0.9g fat

    25.8g carbs

    19.9g protein

*Adjust the size of each brownie to fit into your macros.*

Let's try to get 500 thumbs up by the end of the day (if you actually like the video). Thanks for watching and enjoy!

  • @leanbodylifestyle how much proten in your scoops of shake?

  • @leanbodylifestyle Can I found this stuff in Italy, in a usual supermarket ?
