My Orthodontist reccomended a palatal expander, but when I went to see the surgeon he suggested strictly surgery. Ultimately, I had two procedures done at the same time, my top jaw was moved forward and widened. I am currently on my third week being wired shut. I'm not quite sure how my teeth fit together yet because I have an object in between my teeth that is holding it still, on top of being wired shut. The best way I can describe it, its like having a mouthguard in your mouth.
Wow hardly no swelling at all. Been checking out similar videos on youtube with people that have'vn't been as lucky as you.
