  • 3:40 Is where the stuff happens

  • WOW i don't know how he didnt get off! He was on line the whole time. I lose so many macks from them being on mono. Good looking fish

  • was it easy to hold when all of your line was out?

  • u f***** him up

  • I caught a 25 pound kingfish the other day,

  • hell ya buddy

  • nice shot

  • what kind of reel do you use? nice catch

  • fuck i like the sound the reel makes fffzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzz. haha it was buzzing!

  • nice vid. that mackerel really took off. I can't wait to do some off shore spearing. up until now I have been stuck spearing busy bridge passes and docks. know of any fairly priced charters? i need a boat.

  • nice

  • awesome fish. i once got bitten on the finger by a spanish mackerel it cut my finger nail in half. tha co2 idea sounds like a good one. i like my rob allen gun.1.4 m for deep water.

  • oops. that was close. how come you ran out of reel line? the line seemed too short. your lucky bro you did not lose the fish and the gun if it was any deeper.

    great job.

    peace

  • nice fish. What camera are you using? the quality is very nice ;]

  • CHOMPERRRS!!! LOL

  • nice i am trying to get started spearfishing..,.does anyone know of any good guns for a beginner or a gun gun in general?????

  • if u can get one of the undersea zap...750 ideal for begginer and short range shooting...after that just do your study on the net.

  • @lawmanbaseball go to spearboard.cm

  • Ill tell you one thing, never stick your hand near a reel when that king is going off. I was letting my line run out for trolling and a king took it before i could get it all the way out....... I have a blister on my thumb the size of a dime.

  • how deep were you? but great vid

  • Molto bello, if you want look at my videos in Sardinia om Mediterranean sea

  • well done ...

    thaats big one

  • nice one cam, we r off to the andamans in 10 days. got 6 customers to share the experience with. Julie is joining us too.

    I'll post vids bro,

  • That's a nice fish well done, Glad it didn't tear out on you! What reel are you using now and how much line are you running with it? Is there a reason you are not using a float line for insurance in case you have to let go in the deep stuff? Cheers for sharing

  • top shot mate

  • Nice shootin Tex! Man that was an impressive run off. I can't wait to go Blue Water hunting someday!

  • I videoed Brandon Wahlers getting spooled faster than this on a big GT a few years ago too but it is impressive how fast these fish are.

I had a reel from another company a few years back that locked up on me when i was at 80 and had a 80+ lb amberjack on dragging me straightdown. couldn't cut it just had to let the whole rig go straight down out of sight in 500 feet of water... Still love reels but you have to know when to let go........

  • @cameronkirkconnell I don't know anything about spear-fishing, and maybe I'm suggesting something that already exists, BUT - is there some kind of auto-inflatable buoy that could be triggered by the rig leaving your arm? Like the life vests on airplanes, but with the leash attached to your elbow or something. If a big one rips the rig out, it could inflate and drag the rig (and fish, ideally) to the surface - like those barrels in JAWS 1.

  • Nice One Cam

  • Cam - I keep a co2 float on my reel guns - I've used it twice - once to get up fast with shark after my fish and once in a rig when fish tangled. A 50 lb mack might have taken that gun away .........

  • great vid

  • Cam = Legendary!!

  • You got spooled in a flash. But that is a nice fish.
