  • Hello, I am Brazilian and I can not find the project on the Internet, you could send me the project on how to build this printer? rdxavier@bol.com.br

  • how much thin machine ?!

  • what the update on this fam?

  • What about black shirts ??

  • Hi, how can I obtain your Plans for building this ?

I.am thinking of usin an epson 1100, is it possible ?

    Thank You

    J.R.

  • do you need to heat press this afterwards and does the color last after 10 washes

  • VERY GOOD!

BUT WILL THE COLOR LAST AFTER 10 WASHES???

  • I'm impressed with your innovation. I just want to know the disadvantage if the A3 printer of Hp is used? It can be refilled with the DTG ink but I'm thinking about its impression on T-shirt. Kindly enlighten me on this please.

  • I use Epson T13 direct print on cotton t-shirt with pigment ink, just found color fast while washing. Really need any suggestions to slove this matter.

    Thanks in advance.

  • do these use normal printing ink

  • does anyone know of a really cheap dtg printer

  • how much do you think to buy one of this item?

  • A high quality print on t-shirt! - noflash.spreadshirt.pl

  • Hey! I Was also into building this machine 3 Years ago, and managed to get one print only, then i stopped, `cause the ink was getting too expensive! And time was also needed! I`ve seen some cool improvements on the T Forum like the conveyor belt thing wich is exactly the thing I suggested you, before ending the project! WOW! (remeber? My Name is Andre from Germany...)

Nice to meet you again! I will try again with the new 1900! And i hope to find your name somewhere. This project was so much fun!

  • do you still have the plans for this? your website isn't up anymore

  • Good job, do you have the plan to make the printer?

  • to those wondering if the image will wash off...the answer is no. from what i know, water based textile ink is used..which is permanent. its the same ink that is used in those expensive DTG (direct to garment) printers. which brings me to another point..yes this method has been around for a very long time but only available to those who can afford to pay over $13,000 or so for a DTG machine. this video demonstrates how it is possible to print DTG for much less. hence the "DIY" part.

  • Holy shit! You're the man!

  • Unless you used waterpoof ink, I don;'t think this would hold up very well in the wash

  • can you use a iron to heat the ink in to the shirt for ever??/??? or what heat press can you use

  • Question! How big the prints can be, up to 11x8.5 or more? Because I have a pretty old printer that I can use but the print cant be biger than11x8.5!

  • could i do the same thing with a HP Deskjet F2430 All-in-One Printer/Scanner/Copier ? I honestly want to know cause i want to turn a home printer into a tshirt printer

  • Hey, anyone know the steps to making this because the guys site doesnt seem t work fo rme. If you could tell me the right link or someoen to be kind enough to sell me one I woul dbe interested.

  • am xur after a couple of washes, the image is already distorted on the shirt..

  • Im making this right now. I have ALL the materials and watching this for motivation before I make and sell these.

PM if you want one. SO cheap

  • i think your machine rocks im well impressed which printer did you use for this

  • i though they invented this 5 years ago, isnt it called Direct to garment?

  • what kind of ink that you used to adhering to the shirt?

  • If you are worried about your warranty this type of diy stuff might not be for you...

  • Thats pretty amazing; homemade direct to garment machine. It is probably not very reliable for high volume production but very cool. Check out my videos for tutorials on screen printing and heat transferring tee shirts. Questions welcome.

  • drywall screws for a prox sensor? Why not

  • id like to buy his plans but unless he can come out from hiding alot of people saying here they pay and they get nothing

  • Comment removed

  • what kinda ink you using??? wouldnt regular inkjet ink wash off

  • Very good... if you don't wash your clothes...

  • YES MORE DRAGON t shirts!

  • He honored my plans order, in a about a month. The plans are understandable, and compete. Haven't made the printer yet, but he is straight forward about it, and explains that his first tries at printer disassembly were not successful.

No one said it was easy, to save thousands $.

  • Beware of this guy. I bought the plans on his website and that was almost 2 months ago, but to date I still have received nothing. About 1 year ago he used to offer the info for free and now that he is charging $25 but does not even send it. What is the guy playing at!!!!

  • damn dude, u got some time to spear :) did u used any uv ink? that could actually make it possible i think :P

  • THESE MACHINES ARE BULL SHIT!!!! nothing but problems trust me i know!! now im in debt with a piece of shit t -shirt machine. BUYER BEWARE!!!!

  • how is it bull shit he didnt pay 10 grand for a machine he made this at home using some wood and his epson! hes not selling it hes sharing his idea you idiots!

  • if he only charges $25 for instructions on how to make it then I hardly see how he put you in debt, unless you just really couldn't come up with $25

  • Its very cleaver idea but the ques. is.. if i wash the t-shit the color wil be like fuck:o

  • To the guy using multiple accounts saying you bought a printer from this guy and got ripped off, please shut up, this guy doesn't sell the printer. It's a DIY made at home printer, and he merely offers plans for you to do it yourself for a donation through his site. Stop talking crap.

  • YOU ARE A FUCKING GENIUS

  • How do you keep the heads from drying out with no capping station?

  • I bought one pcs, it can not work. totally swidle.

  • what color-fluid are you using?

  • what is the function of this cheap printer?

  • totally cheat. Do not buy any more.

  • very good.

  • how can i print with this kind of machine.

  • I bought a printer US$900, can not work. They cheat me. Your printer is US$150, is it same lier?

  • Dude if u got cheated, then do something about it.

call the authorities, i bet they can trance it on your mails.. or go to the freaking company.

U cant do anything if you just talk... Jeez do something..

  • Can it print dark garments?

What is the cost per imprint run (letter size image)?

Will the print head dry out is it does not get used daily?

  • I´ve been cheated with a such printer.I have payed exact the same price $ 1800 and I got nothing. We must do somethig against such swindler who operate free on Youtube!

  • I losed my money after bought it, totally can not print anything.

  • totally cheat

  • que bueno, te felicito. ¿Vendes el invento ?

    ¿ Cuanto Vale ?

  • Can the printer with $150 print on light and dark t-shirt, ect?

  • How much is it? Can I print on plastic as well?

  • totally lie. never work well.

  • What size can this machine print? Is it US$150?

  • Do you provide a clothing printer with printing dimensions, 600mmx600mm

  • That ink does the printer use? ...place .... plastisol? .... sublimation??...

  • We need pritning tools , especially machinery quote, either used or brand new for printing A4, A3, A2 and A1 sized product catalogues. Please email quote asap.

  • can i buy it from this wepsite??

  • I need a cheap printer. Can you let me know more info about it?

  • $150 for t-shirt printer. I can not believe it.

  • carefull selling your plans to china

they would steal your ideas and start making money out of your good work. then flood the market with there cheap ass shit as always !

breaks down in a week or so :)

    they always copy everything.

try selling it to japan or germany at least they make good products.

see ya on the forums :)

  • Hi, I'm living in Italy and interesting to purchase your plans. How can I contact you?

  • Hi, I'm living in HK and interesting to purchase ur printer, how can I contact u?

  • where can i get the ebook of how to build it? can i use this system to make 200 t-shirts and more?? is for a little bussines, please answer me :) thanks!

  • would this be ideal for printing 100-300 shirts?

  • No.

But it would be handy for personal use.

  • i want one for personal use how can i get it?

  • no the best method of printing on shirts is still screen printing. the next best thing is heat transfers and its cheaper than screen printing. $1000 and you can easily have enough to start a shirt business.

  • hey thanks for the reply. My only complain about HT is that your limited to certin apparel because of jackets, bags, etc. Some don't have the large flat surface and some textures can't be heatpressed. You are right about the price though.

  • cool 呵呵 有意思 c88 看样子很像中国大陆的 c67 本人比较喜欢这个型号的机器 呵呵

  • great jobs, can you sell ebook how to bulid one

  • can u teach me how to do this printer of yours ?

  • Awesome machine,i wish i had the expertise to build myself one of those... great work...

  • can you print on black with special ink???

  • What about textile ink?.. could it spray that stuff?

  • can you wash it?

  • ugly logo

  • johnnyFuel: take the stick out of yer butt...you will feel better.

  • This is a great weekend project thank you for sharing 5 stars here. What software did you to do your design.

  • I like this. Flat bed printers can be used to print on CDs, DVDs, pens, pencils, memory sticks/cards, cell phones, lap tops, keys, remote, controls, ID cards, storage/shipping containers, hand tools, etc. no flat half way portable surface would be safe from a color photo quality image with a color flat bed ink jet printer.

  • hi i love your work!

i tried to copy your plans using an Epson C90. I got terribly stuck with the paper sensor part. Whenever I print I always get a paper jam error. I taped the actuator just like you did with your printer. Any suggestions?

    Thank you!

  • what kind of ink you use.

  • I am in! cool, I need this

  • This is awesome! I know the ink is a fortune!

You can print this same image on t-shirt paper and iron it on....

DyeSublimation doesn't always look bad or fade... You can get a heat press for about $ 300 and the paper about $ 56... You can do 3 dozens within 30 minutes...

I love this machine but less see what happens this year 2008 at the tshirt convention conference!!

  • hello friend

i check your web, the plans are ready?

    regards tks

  • The 1st set of plans are available. With a donation to the project you will have access to them.

    Thanks,

    T

  • Does you have any plans i would like to build one

  • This is GREAT!

  • don't post nothing until you got this patented..man this could make you a millionaire...

  • companies already sell DTG printers for $10,000 up to $250,000. So this is not new its just a home made hack of one of the many professional Direct To Garment Printers out there. Search dtg printer in google and a few company website will come up.

  • sphinxster moron, for a "hack" its pretty good! What are you a salesman for chinese printing equipment? Ofcourse they sell these and for the prices you said. Point here jack-ass it only cost this guy a few bucks! What small biz, or "weekender" has $10,000 plus???

  • my post was a reply to kyaries who stated on these comments, if you will read. "Don't post any more until you get this patented!" as if this is highly cutting edge and innovative and totally unique i was just stating that there is a whole industry around these machines. i was not trying to take any thing from the guy who posted his contraption on you tube but let the viewer who was in awe of what he thought was totally unique know that they have been there and done that already.

  • ooops, sorry me jack-ass D:

  • Please contact me if you are making the plans available.

  • So cool. Waiting on the plans!

  • How do we get a copy of the plans to build this project...

    Thanks

  • This is awesome. Great work.

  • this is amazing and I am anxiously waiting your plans.

  • Great job! Sell me the plans :D

  • I am really impressed - great job.

  • outstanding work - do you intend to sell this or market the how to? Love more details - thank you for sharing!

  • I am working on the plans. I will post here when they are ready for sale.

    Thanks!

  • Damm! I'm impressed! Good deal! I hope you are able to refine the process even more!
