the wiimote thinks ur light is a sensor bar, but it wont work properly since the sensor bar has to IR leds, and the light is only 1, candles will work also, the wiimote sees light, best Infared light ( IR )
dude, i already know this, but actually, when i was outside with my wii remote ( the wii is inside, ofcourse), & when i was moving the wii remote, it made a weak vibrate....
hey, you know how the whole Wii remote works? It uses two Infrared Light sources (from the sensor bar, or as you have shown, your light) to detect it's position. The remote then uses Bluetooth to connect with the Wii and sends all the info there. You can also make your own sensor bar with a few batteries and two Infrared LEDs. Or just keep using that light. And good luck with that Guitar Hero there...

If you have a Christmas tree next to the TV and sensor bar it messes it up. (Make sure that the Christmas lights are on.)

i heard that sometimes infra red items can do that king of stuff. i think the wii is mistakingly using the light as a wireless sensor bar.
