  • From The Anchorage Daily News:

"Alaska ranks eighth from the bottom for high school graduation. Less than a third of those graduates continue to postsecondary education, here or elsewhere."

  • AK is the very definition of "nowhere" outside of cities like Fairbanks or Nome, most of the people are homeschooled, but they live in the middle of nowhere so children have to spend quite a deal of time helping with outside work.

  • Reaganwannabe "AK is the very definition of "nowhere" "

    The governor of nowhere?

    You're not helping your case.

Wasilla: The Meth Capital Of Alaska

    04 Sep 2008 09:37 am

When authorities surrounded a converted bus housing a meth operation in Big Lake in January, a 13-year-old boy who answered the door bragged that his mom cooked the best meth in the valley, according to the troopers.

During a 2003 bust at a house outside Wasilla, officers discovered five children living inside, all younger than 8 years old.

  • the only problem is that you may see something that is offensive to you, but not the average public, and anyway Sarah Palin, and John McCain have only spoken once in person so I do not think she is valid. a vice pres must have similar, but not same views as the presidential candidate. well she checks there. sarah palin is a definite extremist. to extreme for the good of others in this country. politicians cannot make laws based on their personal fears. there right is not the countrys right.

  • you think the average public doesn't find it offensive that people are saying "Palin should stay home with her kids" or "Palin didn't have that baby"? do you consider Barack Obama or Joe Biden to be "extremists" just a little consistency check.

  • I think that Joe Biden is a little out there, and I think Hillary would be a better choice. Obama on the other hand is not. He knows a lot of peoples points of view, and he brings them to the table. and i was talking about you, and your beliefs about what is offensive. i was saying that saying something like that is not smart because everyone has different points of view on what is offensive and not

  • Obama is too an extremist. he understands my point of view? so what? that doesn't matter, he one of the most far-left senators there is, only my idiot senator Maria cantwell can be considered worse. and i don't care what your point of view is, anyone who doesn't consider that attack against Palin (she faked pregnancy) offensive is a moron period.

  • OMG. Here we go. Slurring the word moron tends to come across as "offensive" to others if not you, and if both candidates are extreme than vote libertarian. theres nothing worng with far left. at least as a politician he respects te view and desires of other americans, and not just his own homo-phobic, anti-choice ideals. as most FAR RIGHT republicans do themselves. im 14. my opinion matters, and something like this is importnant. so sad that you are immature enough to call people morons. so sad

  • nothing wrong with the far-left? you mean price controls, central planning, high taxes, supression of free speech, supression of religion, and the banning of firearms is good to you?

anti-choice? you know that consistant polls show that 54% to 57% of the american population is "anti-choice" right? using the term "moron" and saying a reputable public servant faked a pregnancy are two different things. haha i'm immature. you're overly idealistic, and young. sad.

  • supression of free speech is one of the farthest things from the truth when referencing democratic values. HA. the banning of firearms is something that is dire in todays society. especially with all these gangs, and vigalantes running around taking the lives of the youth. over idealistic. omg thats so sad. i would rather stand up for me ideals than stand up for my fears like SARAH PALIN does. in extempore you may think that chooseing her was a good thing, but it will be replorable soon

  • can you direct me to your clone ReagEnWannabe

  • okay, Usus's parody of my name is on the video "fallen marines" you may need to dig a little to find it, but it's there.

  • whoa.. what happened on the campeine trail while i was offline for a week?

  • All right, fine. Obama's spokesman Bill Burton said "Senator Obama strongly condemns the violent actions of the Weathermen group, as he does all acts of violence ... But he was an eight-year-old child when Ayers and the Weathermen were active, and any attempt to connect Obama with events of almost 40 years ago is ridiculous."

Close your eyes, take a deep breath... it will all be okay... lol. :P

  • a usual Obama tactic, did Obama himself condemn Ayers? if so send me proof, that quote proves that Bill Burton condemns Ayers, but not Obama.

considering that Obama launched his campaign for state senator from Ayer's home...

we're not connecting Obama with the actions of the weatherman group, but he definitely is no enemy of Ayers. and when the satanists on the dailykos are trying to prove Palin is a bad apple and the worst person they can connect her to is Ted Stevens? come on NERS

  • I thought we had agreed that the sunglasses were gone... sigh. lol.

Oh, and no, what happened is that she didn't like her brother-in-law (not her brother), and since his boss wouldn't fire him, she fired the boss, and then her brother-in-law. Get it right, man! :P

Hey! I'm a liberal, and I didn't make a sexist attack on Palin. I'm sure she's a wonderful governor, but she just doesn't have the experience we need to be VP. Last time I checked, that wasn't sexism.

  • hey, cut the crap Goatgirl08, you've avoided everything i've mentioned on the bill Ayer's issue. how about you respond to that while we're on the topic.

  • boy, someone's grumpy.

And the the record, I like the glasses...=P

doing everything you can just to survive and live, and pay your bills..

It is an assumption - and I obviously do not know you.. But perhaps after struggling awhile, while on your own, in the "real world", things will become much more clear regarding politics.

I wouldn't expect you to become a left wing hippie, but perhaps open your eyes to the middle class joe.

  • well, i'm not going into some mininum wage mcjob, i'm joining the military, so that will provide benifits for those first difficult years of adulthood.

  • I mean no offense by this, but I suppose you'll take it as you will..

I believe once you are old enough to vote, and are working in the real world, given you're not rich, and actually doing hard labor - you'll see things quite differently than you do now.
