I have just finished watching the complete series of the West Wing, ending with "Tomorrow", and now I will start right from the begining again and watch all 156 episodes. Generally I watch 4 in a day.
@chikito72 He's not much different. He's just a good enough actor that when he's told to play someone ten years younger, he can just do it, and convince you. He wasn't acting in this video.

@AudioSuede Rob said on Oprah that he left because everybody was getting a pay rise except him..Which i find very hard to believe seen as he was a main character and a favourite of the fans..
@robyn21100 AFAIK Rob was making more from the beginning because he was supposed to be the "Main Character" (as MS states @0:32) and the pay raises were to equal things out after the show became the ensemble it so excelled at. I think he never quite got over loosing being "The Star" and never having enough plot lines around Sam.
@AudioSuede Richard had other engagements but be happy to hear that Bradley and Richard are working on a project together now. I dont know much about it, still working on that but go to either of their IMDBs to see more information. Remember Richard left on a bad note too. Not as bad as Rob but still.

i too loved this show when it was on. it was well-written and incredibly well shot. it set the bar higher for the kind of television dramas of today. but taking even a small bit of credit for obama is a little bit of a stretch there, president bartlett.
@BoogieWithStew Why, because Obama is no Bartlet? No one could be that perfect. It's an ideal, and it's not fair to hold a real person who has to deal with the real world up to that standard.
funny the only reason i got into the series is because my professor made the class watch an episode that related to the lesson. After that i was hooked.
Brad forgot that Josh ended up as Santos' chief of staff and Donna was Mrs. Santos' chief of staff. So that kept their characters busy, at least through 2010. Alison forgot that C.J. ended up running TWW's version of the Bill and Melinda Gates Foundation (called the "Hollis Foundation"). Dule forgot that Charle went to law school after the Bartlet years, and by now has graduated and probably is working for a DC law firm or in politics.
Donna and Josh ftw! Although seriously Bradley, that faux disguise isn't fooling anyone. It looks those glasses, nose and moustache thing you get from joke shops lol. Any moment now I'm waiting for him to bust out a cigar and start up with Groucho Marx lines lol
A lot of interesting things happened in U.S. politics since the election of Pres. Obama, probably enough material for a new season. Too bad Jimmy Smits and Bradley Whitford wouldn't want to do a new season.
@GoFeri Actually, Brad, Jimmy and Jannel were all for doing another season. It was NBC's decision. John Wells tried to shop the series to other networks and even HBO. No luck. Maybe in a few years there will be a reunion TV movie.
these days i am watching ALL of the 7 seasons. i bought the whole package on ebay once and this is the 3th time i watch it. i wish they had continued the show.

Last Xmas My daughter gave me the complete set of WW as a gift and haven't stopped seeing it since. This is the third shuttle watching of the complete serious and I'm at season six again for the third time. As I was watch Josh said something to Santos and triggered me as to , "are there any youtube on WW" and now here I am. My daughter says that this is an addiction, The WW addiction. Maybe its true I don't know,,what I know is that I'm already thinking of the first season. Chain WW watching.

I have just about every episode memorized...the only 2 characters I couldn't stand/value were Kate Harper and Mandy. Neither were anything but talking heads to me. Every other character's story line made me think about a broader world. Great, great show!!!
As a conservative, I have to say that one of the reasons I fell in love with The West Wing and it's writers/creators, was the fact that they could tell a story about a liberal administration, with liberal viewpoints, and never make me feel like they were belittling my own views.
@TheXavory I agree. I think the beauty of this series was about how hard it is to actually get things done and how tough the choices are. Regardless of your politics, this is a impossible job to do and people will always disagree with you, especially since it's usually the US that makes choices that other nations follow, at least with sending troops and all.
I'm a socialist from the Netherlands btw, so I don't care for liberal views, nor do a I have a love for US politics.

The US only knows right winged, at least in it's 2 political parties. If your system worked differently, then I'm guessing the US would look a whole lot different. Now the country is just divided in 2, all liberals, social democrats, socialists etc in 1 corner and all conservative christians, capitalists etc in the other.

@shamoe08 Like you have actually got a clue what left winged actually is. Here in the Netherlands the Democratic party would be 1 of our most right winged parties.
The US only knows right winged, at least in it's 2 political parties. If your system worked differently, then I'm guessing the US would look a whole lot different. Now the country is just divided in 2, all liberals, social democrats, socialists etc in 1 corner and all conservative christians, capitalists etc in the other.
