For your information (do not take it personally), it's connAisseur (connoisseur is not even a word in french (unless it was some other language???))

The Mirriam-Webster online dictionary lists it as connoisseur, with "connaisseur" as the French origin. So I think "connoisseur" is the English or American spelling :)

connOisseur is still acceptable if you consider Old French spelling. But indeed, nowadays we'd say "connaisseur".
