I hung dead even with a GTP in my 01 Type R with bolt on's... There is no way in hell thats a k20 supercharged civic... K20 alone in a 94 coupe is capable of hitting low 13's high 12's just with bolt on's...

With equal drivers, no. Though, stock for stock its not as if GTP gains bragging rights, due to forced induction.

GTP's biggest issue would be getting traction, on wide open throttle launch.

supercharged k20 with bolt-ons = 280-300 whp, 190-200 torque.

I own a GTP and my friend has an Si with a K20. His is bone stock and is way faster than this so called S/C K20. My friend atleast keeps a little behind me haha

the best K20 has 158 torque which it doesn't even get till 7000 rpms redlines at 8600rpms

the Series II L67 gets 280 torque about 3000rpms and redlines at 6500rpms

About the lightest honda civic is 2500 lbs the 2000s GTP weights about 3400 lbs now go do the math. You have better power to weight in your gtp, better aerodynamics, and you have power for longer

When did I ever say I was getting beat. What I met was the Civic in this video isn't supercharged and the driver blows. When I raced my friends 03 Si I won by a good 4 car lengths from 50-110 and his is bone stock.

Actually i think it is a K20 but its not supercharged. Either that or the GTP is not stock because a K20 runs a 1/4 mile in 14.5-14.3. A GTP runs like 14.8. If it was a D-series Vtec the GTP would run a 1/4 faster than the civic could run a 1/8

speakin from experience, i have beat them illegally on the street, but ive enver run them at a track. but a track is a more fair playing ground so i dunno yet. my hatch without me in it also weighs 1900lbs with a mess of body work addng to the weight and all steel paneling, no CF or FG replacement parts so it could be MUCH lighter. so i can say YES my hatch will run faster than an 11.5 in an 1/8 w/o even doing it yet & theres about 15 or so different models in the line of D series engines

good race but something is not right with that CRX. I'm not knocking the GTP but come on a 2200lb(heaviest made CRX) car with it it has a K20 S/C with support mods like 230-280whp vs a car that weighs like what 3500lbs with 260-300 with mods.

Yeah I understand that but simple power to weight ratios would give an extreme advantage to the CRX come on if you have a car that kicks out the same hp but in a car over 1000lbs less even without more torque you'll start pulling like end of first beginnig of second.I can see that you like Grand Prixs but come on simple put the CRX should have been faster.I also understand ratios blay their part but still.

si tu lis er regarde ben comme faut.. non ya aucune traction.. il est gears court 6 vitesses.. il utilise les 4 premieres sur 1/8mile... il est tjrs en train de shifter. et moi jutilise seulement 2 vitesses sur 1/8mile.. et en passant jme rejouit pas de rien pentoute jai poster ces videos la juste pour le fun .. need any more??
