Does C4 have cloth ripping? Just wondering. Because i have been playing around with the ageia physx engine but they only let you play there building tools if you have there hardware.

If you had serious hardware backing that up, it might rival Havok in speed O.o weight differentiation and cloth density looked fantastic!

havok speed? please havok raycasts, ageia can, but uses box collusion primaraly, eg, if that object is within 10 units of this one, start calculating it with the other one sort of thing (its scalable, and tends to be 100* larger then the object) but havok isnt good for speed its like microsoft, got there first, now we have vista stuck on our laptops

what Do You use to simulate this? I have a PhysX card. But is the program on the PC? or do i buy or download? PS. i havent got my pc yet. comming on tuesday the 13th of November

Wow, how old is your LCD Monitor? One thing that can make the FPS better is changing the refresh rate.

Old, but also the scene is not truly optimised and runs quite slowly anyway, maybe I should have uploaded some of my other cloth demos.

Oh, which version of FRAPS are you using? In the options I can choose anything I like. One more thing is to make the resolution of C4 to about 800x600 when using FRAPS.

Even my cousins old 128MB GF Card can record at about 45 FPS at 800x600 resolution

It's probably down to my slow LCD monitor that limits me to the 30fps.

Why is the frame-rate so low?

Fraps limits you to 30fps, and I've got a slow 3D card
