Maybe he means for the 2008 Presidential nomination, but his is NOT the Jan 5, 2008 Republican debate. Several of the folks talking in the videos are not even in the race any longer! I wanted it to say 2008 so that when people went searching for debates for the 2008 election, they would find it. im just wondering...how come no one brought up the issue on Taiwan and China? I believe that my nationality IS Taiwanese, regardless of the cultural similarity between Taiwan and China. I'm talking about the case of puertorricans citizens. We are under the rule of the congress and the president but without the right to vote. Our youth are dying in Iraq. The exact truth of the incident may never be known, but it is evident that the agents were wrongfully convicted under a law not applicable to oficers using firearms legally to carry out their duty. The United States Code Title 18 Section 924(c)(1)(a)(iii)is meant to punish criminals who discharge firearms in committing a violent crime such as robbery and drug smuggling. The jury were also misled by the lie of DHS that the agents intended to shoot mexicans in rendering the wrong verdict.

The simple truth is that former Agents Compean and Ramos shot 15 times at an unarmed man who was running away from them and posed no threat. They lied about what happened, covered up the shooting, conspired to destroy the evidence and then proceeded to write up and file a false report. They deserve to be punished for actions.

I recall a case in which tens of rounds were not just fired but 'found on the dead body'. However, these obvious cases of police brutality were never prosecuted.The reason why the border agents who only wounded a drug smuggler after a scuffle was prosecuted as felons is due to politics, not justice.

Officers are allowed to use firearms to stop a drug smuggler from escaping.Forensic evidence shows the bullent entered slightly from the left side, not directly from the back as some people say, which gives credence to the report that he appeared to turn around with a gun when he got hit.
