When was the last time you saw one of these beasts on the road?? The early Sonatas were not very good but they did offer V6 power for less than Honda's and Toyota's 4-cylinder cars, although I would have rather had the Accord. Keep in mind this may have been Hyundai's first Sonata here in the US but they'd been making larger family cars for other markets for years.
@RoadCone411 Cars are unreliable due to lack of maintenance no matter what brand you drive. Cars that last over 100,000 owners took proper care most likely.
Funny you say that. My '87 Camry is the only car I've ever owned so far out of about half a dozen that stalled and left me stranded at a busy intersection. Fuel pump died. Seriously overrated car. I hated it.
