Listen, the definition of nano is 'very small unit', and the camera on the 5g was crude and wasn't as good as an iPod touch camera or an iPhone, i would rather have the 6g, I'm a runner and find it very useful for running, but it does have its downsides, no camera, no speakers, but the touchscreen and built in pedometer make up for it in a way.

MY iPod mini's battery just died, and this touch screen just killed iPod for me. Thanks for the review and showing the volume buttons on the 6th gen. I know you can advance songs by double tapping the 'sleep' button. But when it is 20 degrees out in gloves I really don't like double tapping a button to go to next song. the wheel control is what made the iPod nice even with a fat glove on I could still control volume w/out looking at the thing.

I have the 6th Gen iPod nano. The main thing that I don't like with it is that there nothing you can add to keep you entertained with it. The radio nice, I don't see the point of pictures, Nike is good, etc. The 5th Gen nano has a accelerometer, than maybe if you can use Nike on there than that will make the iPod 6th gen pointless. I think the best way to go if you don't like the 6th gen is to buy the iPod touch witch can do pretty much everything. If your broke, get the Pod nano 5th gen.

I have had no issues with my 5G nano, but then again, that's just me. a 5G nano is just fine to take on a run/jog in my opinion, I see no difference. I tend to prefer my 5G, mainly because to me, it's more useful. If I had a say, I would have not let Apple put the 6G into buiesness.

I think this is where apple really fucked up. If you see the product spotlight, they planned to make it just like the 5thg but without the scroll, just the screen. 5th gen- the speakers are horrible. the click wheel feels cheap. the camera quality looks like crap. the screen is SO thin. voice over blowed and it's incompatible with everything except the USB connector to a computer.

6th gen- Apple got rid of all that poop and literally got rid of it.

I bought a red 6g because I wanted a shuffle-sized ipod for running and working out, but wanted to be able to choose my artist at that moment, and the clip was a nice touch. If I had to choose just an ipod though, then the 5g is king. But the 6g is just for working out. I use my iPhone for my main ipod.
