Russia has better military technology but a lot of people don't see the fact that today Russians don't have enough money for their military therefore most of their weapons are old and rusty, but the Chinese weapons are newer and newer, China has anti ship ballistic missiles DF21D and missiles can intercept ballistic in mid-flight which Russia doesn't have, also Chinese J20 looks powerful but Russian T50 looks like a piece of paper, so China will win.

Well it is true that China has the numbers, but the only reason their military is strong is because they buy or copy everything off of Russia. As for the international community China would be torn apart by the west with sanctions and trade blocks if not for Russian/Post Soviet space support. Russia needs china also as an economic partner. China is even using Russian carrier just to upgrade her navy of which is mostly made up of Type 52 destroyers and below and Song class submarines. Typhoon, Oscar II, Borei, Graney class of submarines of the VMF alone can destroy most of China's surface vessels even without leaving dry dock (ICBM armed with 6 warheads each). Then you have Kirov, Slava and newer stealth class of ships.

@sicaf11 As for military strength Russia has the upper hand in the air, on the ground and on the seas. China is even using Russian carrier just to upgrade her navy of which is mostly made up of Type 52 destroyers and below and Song class submarines. Typhoon, Oscar II, Borei, Graney class of submarines of the VMF alone can destroy most of China's surface vessels even without leaving dry dock (ICBM armed with 6 warheads each). Then you have Kirov, Slava and newer stealth class of ships.

@sicaf11 Basically Russian navy is an upgraded and modernized fleet with new hulls being built as we speak making it the world's second largest to the United States. US 286 ships, Russia 233 ships for now.
In the air you're comparing China's downgraded copy J-11 to Su-35BM which alone can take out the F-15 making it superb to J-10 and J-17. And what is up with J-15 copying Su-33?? There is reverse engineering and then there's pure over the line copying. Damn! Well its certain its not as good.

@sicaf11 And I don't mean to say it ignorantly but the fact is China doesn't have the sort of experience Russia has with avionics and fancy glass cockpits don't make up for radar and weapons aboard. Then also comparing Chinese H-6 (Tu-16) bombers to the Russian Tu-95MS, Tu-22M3 and Tu-160S is simply a joke. Russia is working on PAK DA and already has made 2 PAK FA fighters. I see nothing impressive with the J-20 but I do like its front looks. Other then that China is behind on air cover.

@sicaf11 Chinese new attack heli might put Mi-28N to the test but nothing comes close to the Ka-50/52 (speed/ payload/ maneuverability/ avionics/ radar/ counter-electronics) is simply unmatched. Only thing I can think of that China has which equals to Russia is their L-15 trainer (looks just like Yak-130 how typical). Next the army:
Chinese army is made up of Type 95-99 tanks. Very good but based on T-72 chassis and I doubt armor is any good compared to T-90S and T-80U. Looks aren't everything.

@sicaf11 And here's the bottom line...whatever the Chinese men power is in their army its simply unmatched to Russia's mechanized armor...Russia has more tanks and guns then the Chinese. Don't believe me? Look it up. No one comes close to the Russian mechanized war machine. And with Russia's combination of their fleet, air cover and this mass armada - even a 10 to 1 advantage in men power is useless. Russia is Sparta to China. There is more then a chance and I wouldn't push your luck.

@AngelsNA34 The AK's are just their main weapons the have other weapons like the Bison, AN 94, AEK just no one knows about those top Russian weapons. The allies (in Europe) where fighting about a tenth of what Russia or USSR was fighting, plus China was getting their ass ripped apart by Japan until USA nuked them. Yes the chinese probably have some weapons that are better then the mass produced AK's, but they're probably too expensive to be mass produced (like the Bison, AN 94 and AEK).
