I honestly don't think Windows 7 is that bad or anything (I actually think its amazing!) but I like OS X Snow Leopard better. If you like one OS that doesn't mean you have to hate the other! It just really irritates me when people say they thinks Macs are sh** because they like their computer and think its great and they haven't really had much experience with a Mac. Entering the Mac world is just completely amazing and its like computer heaven!!!

Dude Tablets can do things non-tablet computers can do. Windows 7 has been a bigger step for tablets with their mutli touch apps. Well Tablets PC's are not built gaming their main use is fore writing and drawing and touch. Actually their i one Tablet I plan to buy that actually game pretty well it has good enough specs to play graphic intense games its the HP Touchsmart TX2 most modern games today require at least 2.00Ghz and the HP touchsmart highest is 2.40Ghz which is can handle gamng very well you can search it up on youtube and ou'll see its performance with COD and battlefeild.

When tablet PC's become more popular thats when people will demand them but gaming is something that the touchscreen /digitizer pen won't help. Maybe in 2010 when all the new AMD and intel processors come out maybe they'll be more powerful.
alienware is horrible. it was bought out by dell (the 3rd best PC company) I went with a Gateway FX series gaming laptop. Higher specs than those of Alienwares and for about $1k cheaper.
Centrino 2. Some say it doesn't have as much power but it is comparable and doesn't have the over heating problems of the duo quad (which my previous laptop, an alienware, had...until it caught on fire) 8 GB Ram, 2TB HDD. The only downside is the graphics card which is a Nvidia 9800 GTS. Im upgrading that as soon as I get the money to do so =)

your previsou had a core 2 quad? you had what a m17 or a m17x? m17 and m17x don't have much overheating issue and are the only alienware that ever had core2 quad

You don't have to draw with a mouse. They have little tablets you can draw on. I had a friend who was attending full sail who used one for his custom built pc. It worked nice. This is a lame attempt to make pc's look better.
You CAN pick up a 1TB hard drive for around $100 and a very good branded one with warrenty. I was also mistaken on the ram! You can get 4gb's of ram for around $70-$90. Let me run trough the whole list again.
1000GB HDD = $100
4GB RAM = $80
512MB Graphics cards = $100.
Intel/AMD Quad Core Processors = $100 (average.)
Those specs for those prices, now tell me WHY the fuck should I pay 2.5k+ for a "laptop" that will die out in spec in a year?

alienware is horrible. it was bought out by dell (the 3rd best PC company) I went with a Gateway FX series gaming laptop. Higher specs than those of Alienwares and for about $1k cheaper.

Centrino 2. Some say it doesn't have as much power but it is comparable and doesn't have the over heating problems of the duo quad (which my previous laptop, an alienware, had...until it caught on fire) 8 GB Ram, 2TB HDD. The only downside is the graphics card which is a Nvidia 9800 GTS. Im upgrading that as soon as I get the money to do so =)

your previsou had a core 2 quad? you had what a m17 or a m17x? m17 and m17x don't have much overheating issue and are the only alienware that ever had core2 quad
in fact the only alienware that have real overheating issue are the one that haves defect
good luck upgradind the gpu on a laptop pray it's a mxm format and a standar one

m17x and yes it did over heat...caught on fire and i sent that shit back charred. Centrino 2 may be "far older" according to you, but at least it works without problems =D

Should have gone Acus gaming labtop. Runs alot smoother with Win7 (compared to vista). Alienware bought out by Dell, I would never want to own a Dell things are horrible. I would run scans on them when a family member would get a "Brand new one" and it would already have viruses, spyware, haha keyloggers.

thank you for explaining it to people who listen to these 99% wrong adverts. here it goes about viruses, there is only around 100-200 k viruses. very lil ammount to me. anti-viruses a very superior these days to even let a virus to trash your system than in 2000. i go on and download allot of shit and im yet to reinstall my OS. my main rule is that dont download anything doggee e.g. video codec for porn video. second dont download anything under 1 MB which isnt released my a safe company - con.

You don't have to draw with a mouse. They have little tablets you can draw on. I had a friend who was attending full sail who used one for his custom built pc. It worked nice. This is a lame attempt to make pc's look better.

O yeah, I made a mistake on pricing by the way.
You CAN pick up a 1TB hard drive for around $100 and a very good branded one with warrenty. I was also mistaken on the ram! You can get 4gb's of ram for around $70-$90. Let me run trough the whole list again.
1000GB HDD = $100
4GB RAM = $80
512MB Graphics cards = $100.
Intel/AMD Quad Core Processors = $100 (average.)
Those specs for those prices, now tell me WHY the fuck should I pay 2.5k+ for a "laptop" that will die out in spec in a year?
