The audience is loud because the audio is not soundboard... If you record a concert and people scream around you then this is the result. If you watch the concert from yesterday, the sound is much better. I think it's good, Martin is a genious. When he sings I am used to crying, screaming... it's natural, you should understand it.
Crowd is so loud because it is the last gig of the tour. It is also the last song of the tour. And it also might be the last time Martin does a solo concert. Audience is enjoying each second of the gig as much as they can.
1) the audience was indeed ridiculously loud, but it was NOT disrespectful.
2) Martin loved that people were into it...throughout the entire show he acted the rock star.
I know a handful of people that also went to this show, and none of them would agree with the negative comments that have been posted...if anything, we all feel lucky to have had the opportunity to see martin in this environment.
i was at both nights of this show and i agree with you, dcwhite. it was insanely loud...but it was a rare treat and everyone was beyond excited...no to mention, the mayan is a small, small venue! martin was SO into the audience and how my they were into him. he encouraged the singing and applause. he laughed and joked with the crowd. and honestly, from someone who has been to 25+ DM shows, this tour was the most relaxed and fun i've ever seen Mart on stage!!

both of these wonderful men have their own talent, and singing range....alway's amazing. i really love the way they sing together. they have done alot for us, and we should be greatful, and not point out negatives.
Of course it is.Unfortunately Dave's voice has changed due to his past addictions.And it has become a bit worser.Though he is talanted and very hardworking singer.
But Martin,in my own opinion,was always better.He always performed the most complicated songs.And made backup sounds with his amazing voice.
I hope that we will hear some new masterpieces from him.
